Energy drinks
Hey guys, read an interesting piece of advice in another thread, how bad are these energy drinks (red bull, red line, 5 hr energy)??? Do they mess with the adrenal glands/hormones?? I found myself using one prior to working out and think maybe its best to go back to good old fashion coffee? Also, alcohol, we all know how bad it is for many reasons, but does alcohol decrease T and increase E???
Thanks

I would bet it does. Ever go into a dive and see all the regulars sitting @ the bar? The majority have disgusting builds with huge guts & bitch-tits lol...
I stay away from energy drinks. Just black coffee for me 1-2 cups per day. The amount of caffeine & sugar present in these drinks is ridculous...Last edited by APIs; 02-06-2012 at 09:55 AM.

alcohol is hard for the body to break down and metabolize. If you are a heavy drinker then you will start to see a lot of fat gains from the calories and carbs in alcohol. That is why you see many with big guts and bithc tits

I don't think alcohol and en eergy drinks can be grouped together. Moderation is the key anyways but I don`t see any harm in the occasional sugar free energy drink myself. Alcohol is just bad news all around if it can be avoided entirely that is best otherwise keep use to a bare minimum.

yea stay away from energy drinks, i had similar stuff in a powder form where you have to mix it with water and drink. it messed with my heart and raised my blood pressure. so if you have any issues with your heart like i do stay away from it. i too have read that alcohol reduces you T production, but not sure if it effects your repla***ent test, even if it doesn't i am sure it effects other things like GearBox mentioned. i am not talking about occasional beer, but everyday beer and hard liqueur is not good!
