I suppose you can either try to convince your doctor that this is considered appropriate therapy...perhaps with a copy of a Dr. Crisler article, or you can find a new doctor. Some of us have selfsourced hCG from foreign pharmas, but this may not be a viable option in the future, as anecdotal reports of hCG not being carried at some places for now. Dunno about that situation. The fad-like hCG diet may be a part of this problem.

Probably need to look for a new doctor if the one you have doesn't know how to administer HRT properly.

Why did your doctor not want to prescribe it?
Also, as much as we see HCG thrown around on these forums, in the medical community it is not common in the TRT field. If you really want HCG you may have to find someone who specializes in HRT/anti-aging type fields.

You should also find out if its covered by your insurance because its not cheap.
Most brands have been discontinued and the one I just picked up from CVS is $170 a vial. Out of pocket since my insurance company wont cover it.

I hope not. Nothing wrong/illegal with using foreign pharmacies.

Honestly that's probably not such a bad thing considering how this HCG diet is blowing up and you got every tom, dick, and harry that tries every new weightloss craze. A lot more could go wrong when the masses are led to self injecting meds that you need to mix and order from the web in many cases. Pretty sad...
Of course, the responsible people always are the ones to suffer from the idiots!

The long arm of the FDA has power everywhere. The companies in india produce many of the things we use today. Slap a fine on them or threaten them is all it takes. Its not just one site, but dozens of sites stopped listing it.

Should clarify. Threaten the source to stop selling to shady websites or you wont do business in the states.

They surely carry a big stick!
Surely the USA must be one of, if not the, biggest importers of drugs from India. We have 300 million people here who have been trained to use drugs for anything and everything and to top it off we have a convoluted insurance system that will fight to deny everything and then overcharge on whatever gets through!
