Need Help With Dosage Conversion for Injection

I ran out of my larger needles and want to stay on track. I only have 1/2 cc 50 unit insulin syringes.

How many units do I take for it to be 30mg of test cyp? My bottle is 200mg/ml.

And where should I inject subcutaneously?

1/2 cc would be 100mg since yours is dosed at 200mg/ml. Sub-Q is done in the stomach an inch or 2 from the belly button

I had some seepage of test from my abdomen. Is this normal? Did I push the syringe too hard? Did I not leave the needle in long enough? etc...thx

You really shouldn't see any seepage.

Try injecting slower and leave the pin in for 20 seconds after your done.

This will help the small blood vessels close up and coagulate and eliminating bruising as well.

what GD said, also its better to inject 3-4 inches away from belly button. i inject in the glutes to avoid lumps.

everytime i get seepage it is because i dont wait 20-30 sec after all the test is in. if i wait i never get seepage.

I've done it 3 times and every time it looks like i have an abcess, gets hot and red and lasts about 10 days..
