Sub Q what do you pin with

So since GH injection with insulin needle is painless and goes so well i decided to sub Q with the same insulin needle, but depo testosterone being oil base takes forever to sink into the needle.

I pin 50mg per 5 days but even at that low dosage it takes forever to fill in the syringe?

Should i pin with my regular 22 gauge or just be patient and stick with the insulin pins?

Slin pin works fine for me. I use a bd 30 unit 30g 1/2". The smaller diameter of the barrel actually speeds up the process.

In my experience, the 28g, 1CC 1/2" syringes work best. You can get them on Amazon. (Or as I like to call it, Amazombie).

I run 29 gauge 1/2inch slin pins from walgreens, work great. Less than 25 seconds to load 50mg. I use the same for my HCG as well.

i use 28 g. x 1/2" like OscarJones and it works great for me!

I use the 30 g x 1/2 and don't mind the time but might look into that 28

I love the 30g to be honest even if it takes a lot of time to fill it in. Thanks guy i guess i will stick to this.

Just thought id throw this in here. My first several injections subQ I used a 21 gauge. It was hard to puncture through at a 45 degree angle without slight tearing of the skin. I also noticed after I injected the fluid would flow back out of the hole. I don't have these issues with the 29 gauge.

my wife uses the 31 gage 5/16 for her T pin, shuddered to think of that 21 gage^^^^^!

Just get 22-25g with replaceable needle. Draw with 22g then put on a smaller needle to inject. Problem solved.

29 g slinpins. Use same for Test Cyp and HCG . Patience is needed.

a 21gauge?? like as in a couple steps down from an 18g.. that's a big needle and I'd never (ok i did it 1 x but that's all it takes) use a needle that large.. slin pins are smallish on the 28g and smaller size range..

what i do for oils if i'm using a slin pin is heat the oil in a regular 3mL syringe, then backfill into the slin pin, more risk of infection/contamination but that's what i do..

I never tried using a slinpin for test, used a 25 g and it worked fine though, but if I kept doing subq i would want to try the slin pins.
