Pregnenolone Dosing Question
My latest b/w had me at 66 ng/dl for Pregnenolone. I am currently taking 100mg of Micronized Preg in the Morning. I am looking to bump my level to over a 100 ng/dl.
I was wondering if anyone has ever switched from oral pill form to sublingual form and seen significant increase in Preg level?
Thanks!!!

I've heard oral is hit or miss and mostly miss for the majority of people. Sublingual would be in that category as well.
Transdermal is best, but getting a high enough concentration might mean getting a rx.
Personally, I am experimenting with preg right now. The information out there right now is so scattered. It essentially comes down to trial and error I say. Get bloodwork, take notes on your symptoms, and try a few different products.
I started on a basic pregnenolone, tried some various doses and ultimately I can't say it did anything. I will try micronized preg now and probably start at 50mg per day and go up 50mg every 2 weeks.

I am going to disagree just a bit with HRT here; many TRT Physicians in the know who originally went with TD as an application are now finding that they are getting as well as, or better, uptake with "micronized" Pregnenolone then TD applications.
Note here, I am talking about "micronized" formulation and not the standard pill form.
I've been on a daily 50mg TD of Pregnenolone and DHEA for 3 years and my serum levels are mid range and not where me or my Doc want them so we added in an additional 50mg of micronized Pregnenolone to get the serum levels near peak.
I have a recent thread in here somewhere on a recent study on optimized Pregnenolone levels so if you can find that it's a good read.

Thanks guys as always!! Maybe the dosage I'm taking is not micronized. I'll look into taking micronized next. Trial and Error like HRT said. Thanks!!
Yeah GDEVINE, I read your posting on pregnenolone. Very Informative post!!

Nice info.
I think its important we don't discount pregnenolone on a one-trial basis for exactly this reason... there are so many pregnenolone options. If you want testosterone its either transdermal or inject, if you want anastrozole its the same pill with a different name, and so on and so on... but if you want pregnenolone you have so many different products from so many companies and id be willing to bet there is a difference in quality in some products that purport to be the same thing on the label.
And gdevine, what preg pill(s) have you taken that you can attribute to improved blood work?

No blood work yet HRT; we just added in an additional 50mg of Preg and DHEA both micronized after last BW showed DHEA-S mid range.
BTW, testing for Pregnenolone is all but impossible and why you don't see it on many/most blood work...and if you do it's accuracy is questionable.
We'll see where I am at in about 10 weeks or so...keep you posted.

Specific B/W type of test for pregnenolone level? Or are they approximate at best?
