Test result from Low t
Ok so i posted a while back about having flu like body aching, feeling very depressed and lack of motivation/energy for about the last 2 years. Well about 2 years ago I did a cycle of test cyp (8 wk/400 EW) and then ran nolva and clomid. (By the way Im 21 now, I know it wasn't a smart choice but we live and learn) after posting a couple of people told me to get a full hormone test done so I did. I explained to the doctor how I was feeling and told him about aas in the past and my T level was 351. This is pretty low for my age and we talked about a couple of options. He tells me my best option is to do HCG protocol for 6 weeks then pull me off and see if my levels stabalize. I would like your opinion about all of this, ex if HCG is my best option at 21 and if not what is. Also what I might be looking at as far as pros/cons. If anyone has been in this situation please share. Thanks a lot! helps big time!

I would try out as many options to get you to reset your own testosteron production as he offers. So go with it for now.

Look into nolvadex (SERM) as well.

I went back to the doctor today and my t levels were 251. However my LH was abnormally high possibly indicating hypogonadism? I'm gonna go ahead with the HCG however not very optimistic about seeing any changes..

Sounds like you might have primary hypogonadism, meaning your testes aren't working and no amount of HCG will really fix it. You doctor should know that's possibly the problem. High LH and low T is an indicator of that.

Yeh that's what I thought. I mean my LH was 12.8 but he seems to think that more might be enough to kick production in gear. Idk I'm gonna go back in 2 weeks and get tested again.

To me... its worth a shot. Id rather try the other restart options before diving into TRT, especially given your very young age.
HRT is far from an exact science as it is, so to me there's little harm in trying out some therapies if you are willing and able to.

Yeh I'm gonna go ahead with the hcg and see where I'm at in 2 wks. Hopefully my levels are raised but if not, is TRT the only other option left. Also, besides possible reduced fertility, what would be the cons and harmfull effects of long term TRT for me a person at my age? Thanks!
