Standard of Treatment for Members
Respect everyone, and you will have respect.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
We are here to help each not harm.
We don't always have to agree, but in disagreement show respect or silence or agree to disagree but still respect each other.
No one means you ill will, so show none to others.
We have been given a gift which is this forum, treat it like Christmas Day.

Well said. The standards on this forum ARE far better than others and every effort will be made to keep it that way. The amount of time and effort some of these guys spend helping others is nobel, refreshing and commendable. A line I frequently use here is "Pay it forward," which pretty much sums up the membership here.
Nice post!

This junk! It looks like admin cleaned a lot of this mess up that dec11 wrote, seems he might have been banned because of it.

We don't need this here. IMO unacceptable behavior. Hope you agree.

No offense phased but this forum has always been the most respectful mature area on this entire board. Guys like vette and kel and gdev, bass, johnny v and many others always see to it . Sadly you came in at a bad time..the first time I have seen such interaction in this area. Rest assured not only will staff not allow it..but the real backbone of the board..the members in this area..will not either.

all good, great post brother.
occasionally you'll see an uptight member flexing a bit more than necessary. but as Jimmy said, they'll usually be delt with swiftly with a stern warning, sometimes through pm.
i believe this is the most mature, responsible, and health conscious AAS board on the net - bullying or flaming will not be tolerated.

Nice post Phase. I agree with Jimmy, this forum been very consistent for as long as I remember (recently I was accused of having a short memory), well at least since I joined here. I remember when my ass was kicked for overlooking the great answers already given to me but glad they did because I was so focused on hearing what I wanted and ignored everything else . I think this maybe the case in a recent thread, good answers were already given but the questions kept coming. Anyway, we all (at least most of us) have one thing in common, is to achieve optimal health by learning from each other and helping each other. Dam man I think I'll go into preaching business!

So far I really like this site. Very informative and user friendly. I just wished doc's could get a 'standard of treatment' when it comes to helping us with our issues!

Bravo Phased!
Like yourself, I appreciate the opportunity to participate in this community. I find the experience invaluable and the brain trust par extraordinaire! In addition to the wealth of knowledge, it's a great community, supportive, and at times entertaining. There are times however, on rare occasions (thankfully) that discussions de-evolve and become less productive and combative. It's not easy to turn the other cheek when someone choses to make issues personal or offensive but lately I've felt that out of respect for the members and the integrity of the community, its best not to engage in destructive conversations and simply walk away. I want this to be a forum where people enjoy the fellowship and camaraderie and will refer new members out of respect and our good reputation. Obviously some discussions will cross certain ethical lines but hopefully the maturity of the membership will prevail and the general conduct of the community will remain civil as it has in the past.
I appreciate your comments and observations.

Ok, I just skimmed the three threads that Phased posted and I don't see a thing in any of them that is of real concern. In fact, I didn't post in any of them as the other members had it covered and no need to add.
Unless and admin did some cleaning, which I doubt because I read these before and never saw an issue, not sure what the fuss is all about.
I take GREAT pride in what we've accomplished in this forum over the past two years. It went from just a few sparse posts a day max, to discussing the virtues of injecting twice weekly (and trust me, I got some real shit for that one from guys here who I luv dearly now) to doing SQ injections...and on and on...we've come a long way here and it's very rewarding for me personally to be able to help men find the right course of health and health care.
But to Phases OP, caring for one another and having a deep desire to help other men get themselves right is what's it is all about here in my opinion.
Just a "thank you" is all I need to be rewarded beyond belief.Last edited by steroid.com 1; 10-08-2012 at 10:04 PM.

Maybe I posted the wrong links..I don't know if I did I apologize, but there was some really bad negativity going on an Vett spoke up and silenced it, that's the thread I was talking about. Then I saw more nonsense with someone taking pot shots at 405 for no reason. Again If I posted the wrong links I apologize again. Been a long day. But like you my jaw dropped and was certaininly drawing blanks as to why this was happening and just wanted to speak up and share frustration with it.

Like the Inked One said; trust me, it is an anomaly and it will NEVER be tolerated if anyone is disrespectful around here...ever.
This forum is about the health and well being of men...nothing more, nothing less.
There is no need for anyone being deliberately hurtful or to posses ill intentions.
While this is less of a concern to me personally as it's never been a problem here; the bigger concern for me is that the information men post on here about TRT protocols, blood work, hormonal diagnoses and the such be as accurate as humanly possible.
Men come here for experienced guidance and counsel and the information they take away from here and use, whether it's finding a TRT Doc or understanding E2 panels, the information has to be 100% accurate.
It's that type of quality that makes this place as great as it is today; and I for one only see it getting better and better as the months progress.
Peace my brothers!

As a very new member to this forum, and having read all the stickies, I can attest that it is pretty clear that just about all of you are here to offer help to others who are experiencing the same type of issues. Having participated in other health-related discussions on several forum regarding my wife and my son's health issues, I must say that this site is lacking in the preachy, know-it-all attitude that permeates many online forums. This site has been the only beacon of hope in my journey to rectifying my hormonal imbalance, and I am thankful for all of you and your willingness to take the time to share your knowledge.

Things flare up in the forum as a whole, but the TRT section of the site stays amazingly adult-like. It is helpful and respectful 99.9% of the time. A lot of non-bodybuilders stumble across this section and ask questions with absolutely no knowledge base and they are still treated with patience...the kind of patience that you would never see if they asked a simple question in the Q&A section.
I see this as the Disneyland of steroid .com.

This post is in response to my first post I ever made. I tried to be respectful until I had been pushed over the edge. I appreciate the mods for cleaning up the post and not banning me. Some one was banned however. It's good to see the amount of positive feedback on here as I was very discouraged at first. But you all did come to take care of the situation. Much respect to everyone.

Hey Pete, this was not directed at you at all, so don't feel the need to apologize. The fact was a senior member was in very much disrespect towards a new member without any compassion for a new member. Your story might not have added up to him, but I understood and was very amiss as to why he was trying to tear you down. I/we are glad to have you and hope to help in anyway we can now and in the future.
I could see your frustration and a few other things happened and I felt the need to take a stand for the good of the forum and yourself.

I agree that new guys get some hazing on occasion. It goes in phases depending on the number of new guys asking the same questions when it is obvious they haven't done a shred of reading. Just before spring break is the worst and I think the established members should just stay out of the Q&A section if they are already on their last nerve.
I always try to remember back when I didn't know squat and just wanted info on something I found confusing.
New members keep this place fresh and they need to be guided rather than squashed. The ones that are really bad probably need to be ignored more than spanked.
