Aromasin / bloodwork question
Hey guys, I've been doing TRT for almost 2 months now (80mg Test E per wk) and I just got my blood work back.
My E2 level is 29. Should I take 6.25mg of aromasin for 1 week then stop, wait a month, and get my levels tested again?
I want my estradiol levels as low as possible without running into any problems associated with low estrogen.
Would it be good for me to run 6.25mg aromasin ED for 1 week and then discontinue it for a while? (While still taking Test of course)
I'm new to AIs so I don't really know the extent of how the dosing directly affects estrogen levels.
Thanks!

Whats the range on your e2 test?
Was it specifically the e2 ultra/sensitive test?
Did you start aromasin right off the get go or did you run into high e2 then start?

He said the usual range is 20-47 in this lab. I do not know whether it was the e2 ultra/sensitive test.
I've never dosed any aromasin or AI. I got diagnosed with low testosterone a few months ago and got Test prescribed to me.
Thanks for your quick response Student!Last edited by kingster129; 10-11-2012 at 01:46 PM.

Need to find out if it's a sensitive assay or not before you take any action. The sensitive assay is specific to males. If the test you had was in fact a sensitive assay then you're mid range and just fine. You need estrogen for proper bodily function. Lower is not necessarily better. Read this:

I've crashed my estrogen before. It's not fun. So, if you're not having any symptoms right now of high E I would not start aromasin . Find out the type of test you had first. Aromasin takes about a week to build up blood levels anyway. Arimidex is pretty much instant. They both work and have uniquely different attributes.

Exactly what Kel said ... No need to micromanage this to the low end. There's a good sticky here on E2 management. Check it out ...

Ok, well, first of all id make sure I'm getting the right test in the future.
But if you have normal blood work and no signs of high E2 then I would not start an AI. No need really. If you can do TRT without an AI then that is a real plus in my opinion.
You can also consider more frequent, smaller injections to lessen E2 conversion. I would do this first if my e2 was only marginally creeping up.

Doesn't once weekly injections mimic the body's natural release of testosterone though? Or does it ultimately not matter when you give yourself the injections?

Once weekly more closely resembles elderly men. The typical man's testosterone is diurnal, peaking in the morning and dropping off throughout the day.
Does this really matter? We don't really know.
If you're going to be doing injections it is more important to figure out how many shots you're going to do per week rather than what time you take them at.
