What is the normal range for estrogen in a male ??

My doctor said he wants my estrogen to be around 30 but my libido and hardness ain't shit. I read here where someone said their sexual libido and ability was best when their estrogen was around 80. I once took too much arimidex and my libido has never been the same. ED is really bad.

There is an acceptable range that the labs respective tests operates within, more importantly is how do you feel? Low estrogen can have the same side effects as high when it comes to libdo and general feeling of well-being.

30 at lab corp is a good # for me but may not be for another subject..... as you have previously crashed your Estro trying a higher reading may make a difference.
All you can do is try it on and see how you feel??

Let's make sure we are talking estradiol and not estrogen. For estradiol I am sure you do not want to be @ 80 Pg/ml unless you want no erection and the onset of many other issues. Your doctor is correct you want to be in the optimal range of 15 to 30 pg/ml. If your doctor does not know the difference between estradiol and estrogen, run as fast as you can.

80 pg/ml is way to high and could cause some very serious health issues...kid you not.

Life Extension and their AA Physician's like E2 for men to be in the 20's.

How you feel, as noted, is also critical.

Elevated and suppressed E2 levels have many of the same neg sides...and they all suck.

Just for clarification (and it's noted in the Estradiol sticky) Estrogen is an umbrella name for about 30 different classes of Estrogen's one being Estradiol.

The terms are loosely thrown around and it's largely understood that Estrogen when used in terms of a man is Estradiol.

Hell, even some labs call it Estrogen for men.

Sensitive assay is the one you want to go by, the range is 3-70, and you should be between 25 and 35
