Dosing Aromasin with Moderate E2 levels

Hey guys, I spent $82 bucks on getting my E2 levels checked. It was an Estradiol RIA test.

My levels came back as 29, and I have already taken two testosterone injections since then (which leaves the possibility of my present levels being higher).

My endocrinologist didn't like the idea of prescribing me Arimidex because of bone density problems associated with low estrogen.

But... I wanted my TRT to be optimal so I did some research and ordered 30 25m pills of Aromasin online and they came today.

My question is whether I can take 6.25mg of aromasin ED for 3 days and stop, would that lower my E2 levels by a little bit? Or just waste the pills?

If I took 6.25mg ED for a week what could my E2 levels get down to? I hear that 1 week is the required loading phase for Exemestane but I'm afraid that if I take it for one week my estrogen will fall sub 20.

    Thanks for reading.

I don't think it's worth it running it short term. There's just no stability there. How your body responds to an AI is an individual thing. Two people can have the same E2 level and respond totally different to the same dosage of an AI. Initial dosing is trial and error, IMO. In this circumstance, Adex may serve you better as it basically acts immediately with no loading phase. You can dose it 24 hrs after injection one or two days a week with success.

Speaking of injections, cutting your dosage in half and injecting every 3.5 days will help with T levels and also to control spikes in your E level. Sub-Q injections may be of help here as well. There is a sticky at the top of the forum on Estrogen control, make sure you read it as well. With the proper protocol as well as lifestyle and diet, you may be able to eliminate or reduce the need for an AI.

This is a great reply, thank you.

I'm going to start injecting twice a week.

When you say that there's no stability do you mean that E2 levels can rebound after taking aromasin ? If so how often does this happen?

Since I took 6.25mg but only one dose will it affect me if I discontinue tomorrow?

Stability in that running it short term and then stopping will only lower it temporarily. Don't get me wrong, Aromasin is a great product, just in this case it may not be the best choice for you based on its short half-life (less than a day) and having to maintain serum levels whereas adex lasts 45 hrs or so and pretty much works on demand. You can take it 24 hrs after injection to time it closer to the peak time of your T.

Stop any AI and E2 levels can rebound. Hence, we have to do what we can to eliminate the need for their use if at all possible or at least mitigate it. If you were running a "cycle" and required daily long term dosing aromasin would be a great choice. Stopping now is fine.

So, plan your protocol accordingly as I stated to help manage this. Monitor for sides until you obtain adex from your doc or use the site sponsor for liquidex. A 29 E2 level is great but it will no doubt rise with your injections. Talk to your doc more about minimal use of adex. See where your at with your next BW and go from there. If you need it start low, maybe .25 one day after each injection and then adjust based on BW, which IMO should then be another month out.

    Hope it helps,

No. Save it for a rainy day. Read this on E2 and get it to your doc if need be:

    http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2010/...ing-Men_01.htm

Matter of fact, join LEF. It's free and you'll get a good monthly magazine. Good info.
