    trt and estrogen managment question

After a few years of doing the gel for low test monitored by my endo I switched to weekly shots in july started with 200mgs of text cyp, bi-weekly shots of hcg and never really figured out the dose of anastrozole pills. The past six weeks I switched to weekly shots of hcg because because I felt so much better the weeks I got the hcg. both shots are on Fridays. I have been taking half of a 1mg tab of the anastrozole pills thursday saturday and tuesday is that to much? Kind of lost sex drive and the feeling of being on top of the world has gone away I'm thinking estrogen is to low any suggestions? thanks for your time guys sorry if I worded anything wrong.

I am 33 year old male 6' 2" 275lbs never measured body fat but I dont have much, Have been bodybuilding/powerlifting since 20 years old. Dont know if those stats would help.

Thank you for your time once again.

never heard of anyone injecting text! LOL, JK...

200 mgs per week is very high, have you done blood work recently? since your injecting Test and hCG you will convert more to e2, so maybe the 1.5 mg AI is not enough, but no one can tell you weather your e2 is low or high without BW. do you feel bloated, water retention, joint pain? i can tell you allot more but we will need to see BW first.

no water retention no joint pain just down on myself and sex drive dropped I read those were symptoms of it being low, do you think it's high then and I should up the dose? I am sorry for my lack of knowledge and not wording things right thats why I came here for info. On the gel test was still very low just a bit over 300 I'm due for blood work in a few weeks. what should the dose go up to?

It's really hard to say, most of us are doing about 0.25 mg AI per 50 mgs test, and few do 0.5 mg per 50 mgs test. A quick way to find out is to buy an online lab work for total T, freT and sensitive assay e2, make sure it's sensitive assay.

How long have you been taking the AI? My experience has been like yours - test makes me feel fantastic and adding the AI can definitely bring you down along with overall lethargy. Perhaps that will subside once you have been on it for a little while longer and your body stabilizes. Letro and similar AE drugs are very powerful and have definitely made me feel like you. Good luck bud.

I'd move up the blood work if you can and leave your protocol as is. If you start monkeying around with the dosages it may not come back accurate. Adjust as needed after the blood work. Retest in 6 weeks....

Welcome Moose. As bass said you can go get your own bw done from an online lab. Just make sure you get the E2 sensitive test done. That's the one needed for males. That's the only way to know how much AI is needed to keep your E2 controlled.

As a few above stated, get BW now before making any changes. Then chart your course forward. I'd suspect possible E issues and a very high T level as well. Higher T does not always equate to feeling better. Once you get your BW post is here so we can evaluate it for you. Samples of BW are in the Finding a Doc sticky if you need it. If you use labcorp I can provide you the proper codes for the E2 assay.

I was in the same boat with estrogen management. it took me while and a few panels to figure out my AI:test ratio. But without bloodwork, I would have been completely lost.
