TRT (test at 900) VS "Blast" ??
I have been on TRT for around 8 months and am wondering if there's a big difference Between keeping your test at a level of 900 ( which I seem to stay at taking 100mgs of test cyp once per week) and doing a "Blast" for 12 weeks of 400mgs (200mgs x 2 times per week, with an AI of course)
I have made some Serious gains in muscle mass in my first 8 months of having a level around 900 now. I have been working out for years but its great to Actually be able to see some results.( my test was at 200 ish when I finally got tested for low test).
I am seriously considering a "blast" because its just something that I kind of want to scratch off my bucket list! I want to experience a true cycle and see how much gains I can achieve. I will be running an AI ( liquidex most likely) and will be sticking to the diets and foods that I have been reading on here on people's cycle plans. I am looking to gain as much muscle mass as I can.
Thanks for the responses in advance.....basically I am looking for info if a "blast" would be that much better than TRT with a level of 900!
Thanks guys

I would make sure you have taken the time to make sure you have you're TRT dialed in before you blast. I got on TRT and got to excited and went on a few blasts all before getting myself dialed in,so Ive had to step back and slow down to get things right..
When you do blast at 400mg you will notice a difference, make sure you have the extra AI needed for that dose and eat clean and you should enjoy the ride!

Wait until your gains slow down from your TRT now and that you're feeling good.
Then yeah, blast away if you want. 400-500 of test per week, is a big difference compared to 100 test per week. Which is the whole point in blasting.

Wow! 900 on 100mg weekly is incredible. At what point in your weekly cycle do you test your totals? Are you taking AI drugs and HCG too? I'm just under 600 at 130mg weekly of test-c, 8 months into TRT.

Let us know how things go with your "blast" if you decide to go that route. I have been on TRT for about 10 months now. My new BW is due the middle of February. If I am able to reconfirm I am dialed in, I have been thinking about doing an 8 week "blast" myself.

Good advice above fireguy. Just remember, all the same risks apply. TRT only eliminates the need for pct. That said, continue doing what you're doing. Self-education is the key and nutrition is everything. Hit the nutrition forum and read the bulking thead and get your diet dialed in. All the aas in the world won't help unless you eat properly. And properly also includes eating "enough" food, which most just don't really seem to do. They then wonder why they didn't make substantial gains....

Not that I want to do it because my goal is to maintain a lighter weight for brazilian jiujitsu, but be as strong as strong as I can for my weight, but is it safe to blast in your 50's? (Or running a cycle like we used to call it in the 80's

IMO yes. Just with age should come wisdom meaning more respect for the substances to be used. You want to improve yet at the same time need to be concerned for overall health and longevity.

Good points about the diet/food intake.
Is there a ratio to follow with your AI when you are raising your test intake?

Im currently doing 400 ml a week ( usually do 150 ml/week ) and man i feel the difference!! workouts are great, a lot more pump, increased strength, don't feel as sore the next day or lasts less, you feel like you can move a mountain .. One thing I do advice is make sure your getting 8-10 hours of sleep which I think is key.
