    TRT and body hair question

    Hello!

First my stats....I'm 46 years old, 6'5" tall, 210lbs, and 11.5% body fat. I eat right and work out 3-4 days a week. I started TRT in October last year due to low test levels. After 5 months I'm very happy with the way I feel, my sex drive, and my muscle growth. I've worked out for years but have really experience great gains since starting TRT, it's very cool!

    Here's my treatment plan:

1.0ML Test Cype once a week injected in the thigh
1 capsule .5MG Anastrazole (orally) to controll est.
.50cc HCG SQ 2x a week injected in belly
    1 capsule .25 anastrazole (orally)

So the question about body hair. I had no body hair before starting TRT....I now have a fair amount of belly hair and light chest hair...just ya stray back hair here and there so far. The question is will body hair growth continue to increase? For how long? In two years am I going to be a hair guy and have to shave/wax to see the work I've put in to my body? Anyone with any personal experience regarding this I'd apreciate the feed back......just would like to know what I'm likely in store for. Thank you!

    Welcome to AR.

Adding exogenous testosterone certainly will increase hair growth - its like going through puberty again. But it will stop at some point when your body reaches homeostasis. I doubt you will turn into a silverback.

Also, what strength is your Cyp? And how often are you taking your Arimidex ? And why two separate dosings? Or is that .5mg one day and .25mg another?

Thanks for the feed back! Yes, I'm taking .5mg the day after my shot and .25mg 3 days later.

Mine grows pretty well....well, except on my noggin. I don't know if the rate of growth is increasing, but it does take some effort every week to keep well groomed for my wife. Overall...not a problem for me considering the benefits of therapy.

Thanks all for the feed back....sounds like everybody has a little
Different experience with how much body hair growth they've had while on TRT
I guess since I've only been on TRT for 5 months. I'll just have to
See how it progresses as the years go by. If my hair growth gets such I can't see the
Results from my works outs I'll deal with it.

It's kinda like going thru puberty again...you didn't know how much hair you would end up with the first time either...

My DHT levels sky rocketed when I went on TRT. Sure added lots of hair on me...but still not a gorilla...yet. I think its more to do with genetics but don't think you will need to get is shaved/waxed. But I guess that's a personal choice.

Thanks everybody for your experiences. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what my genetics has in store for me....the males in my family are all over the place as for body hair. Until TRT I had next to none....certainly none on my torso. Now I have a some belly hair and a little chest hair. My brother is very hairy and my dad is too. It's only been 5 months on TRT, I guess after a year or so on it I'll know if I'm destin to wax/shave to keep my muscles visible.

I was a naturally hairy guy to begin with, but ever since I started TRT I've noticed even more. Most of it's on my back and shoulders but whereas once my chest pelt stopped before my neck, I now have a bit coming in between where my collar bones approach one another.

I've always had a baby face and def. can't grow a full beard or good even sideburns. My facial hair grows under my jaw line and above the lip but not on the chin or sides of face. It's really weird to be honest. I'm nearly thirty and been on HRT for only 8 days. I'm hoping the test will increase facial hair I do have some belly hair but nothing on my chest or back. I guess it's just bc I have had low test for my entire life but never knew it. My brother and father don't have this issue as they are ware wolves!!! So I know it's not hereditary. Lol I wish test will help me grow a beard like the Robertson Men on duck dynasty....jack!!!

Grow some chest hair! Unless you are about to step on stage in a bodybuilding competition, shaving body hair is for girls!

I would give my left nut to not need to shave for a month. I get 5 'o'clock shadow around lunch.

I have gotten more body hair since trt, but just get a good pair of clippers and give your back, chest, and legs the "Miami Vice" look like me. Just not into the baby smooth anymore IMHO

I definitely noticed some increased hair growth at first... but it did not continue. I'd say it took maybe 3 months? Total guess, but early changes that stopped shortly after is the take home message for me.

Just noticed this. This is interesting because this very similar to how i dose my AI on cycle. For me it's .5mg always the day after, and .25mg in between.

I've definitely seen an increase in body hair. I've been on trt for about 7 months and now I noticed a patch of hair growing down the back of my neck going down to my upper back. I've always been hairy, but now forget it, and it grows so fast. I'm on a testosterone gel, so where I apply it are the areas I'm sprouting a lot of new hair. On my biceps, triceps, and shoulder blades I keep getting new sprouts. But ji do like how my voice has gotten noticeably deeper.
