has anyone tried compounded sublingual testosterone drops?

my dr is trying to "convert me " from the low dose injections over to drops.. he is being cool about it saying i can do both..but wants me to lower the subQ/im injection dose- I guess the trick is to keep them under your tongue for 5mins so it gets absorbed.. i tried some this am.. .. he has me taking 10mg a day.. which seems like alot for female..but i am thinking it probably wont all absorb.. he said he as some women on 15mg a day- i don't mind a higher dose as long as i can keep my hemacrit levels down..

    thanks

Never heard of oral Testosterone drops.

Do you know the clinical name of the pharmaceutical?

Never heard of it either, but id have to ask... why are you switching at all?

If what you're doing is good then why change? If you're on too much testosterone , the answer is not to switch deliveries. The answer is to simply take less.

HRT -hard to get a tiny dose in the injections.. i am trying but i keep messing them up. and i can't go 7 days inbtwn shots.. my energy runs out at about day 5. i think i am not liking pinning myself 2x a week... hardly seems worth it for only 1 or 2 units. dr thought the drops might help to have more stable consistency - lets put it this way.. i am really confused at this point! i like the energy the larger dose produces but am fearful of the polycythemia..
GDEVINE- the name i see on the rx is testosterone usp micronized each mg contains 20mg or 2% stevioside 90%powder. powder each mg contains 2.5mg or .25% base G ( almond oil, sweet nf) oil each ml contains 1 ml or 100% (qs) flavor, tangerine oil ..
it actually tastes pretty good.. and i took 10 drops this am as directed and went to the gym.. and felt pretty strong... mind over matter? also a bit grumpy today. ..
    thanks !

It makes total sense to me given the low dose you need as a female and mode of transportation.

Men use transdermals all the time, albeit hit and miss, to get the testosterone into their blood stream...even pellets for that matter.

Using a micronized formulation that is taken sublingual to get into the blood stream makes complete sense to me.

For the most part, you avoid liver first pass effect (which you don't want) and it presents itself as a viable medium for transfer into the blood stream in these low doses.

Please, keep us posted on your results and blood work; it never amazes me how much TRT is evolving.

And finally, stick around please, so good to see a female member in here and participate...we need more like you!

yes keep us posted. Very interesting concept. Maybe since micronized DHEA is best absorbed its not "out of the box" for micronized sub test?!

the sublingual is a bit odd in that you have to let the drops set there for a while like 2 to 3 mins if you can then you swallow the liquid.. i am hoping it is bypassing the liver.. having had hep twice..and now in remisson ..i dont need the extra stress on the liver! thanks for the encouragement! i dont now that i am ready to totally give up the injections..i have had such good boosts in energy and well being from them. a bit afraid to lose the life i have started to regain after being ill/or out of balance for the past 10 years..
