Question regarding taking prolactin levels too low
Hello all!
I'm actually quite pleased with how TRT is treating me, right now I'm doing
.4 mL (80mg) T. cypionate q3d
.25 mg cabergoline q3d
250-300 IU HCG M/W/F
20 mg Nolvadex qd
.5 mg Adex qd (yes I realize this dose looks a bit high, but the nolvadex does reduce the adex's effectiveness a bit (gyno flares up if i'm just on adex, and acne/bloat flare up if I'm just on nolvadex, so the combo seems to work for me) and at this level of adex for a few months my estrogen is right around 30 and my bloat/acne is under control and no joint pain etc. so I'm pleased with it).
Labs are all spot-on and BP is great at ~110/70, my only question is with my prolactin
Prior to this my prolactin levels were not outlandishly high, but on a reference range of 2-18ng/mL they were consistently up to 30+ so my doctor said we could give cabergoline a shot which has taken it down to nearly undetectable (~0.3ng/mL). My doctor seemed pleased with the results.
Is there anything bad about having a prolactin level this low? So far I haven't noticed anything (that I have directly correlated with that), but I was thinking if there are any negatives to keeping it this low I could try cutting my tablet into fourths instead of doing halves like I currently am.
Any input would be appreciated! Thanks guys!

PROLACTIN
A very important hormone, and must not be overlooked on initial work-up. Approaching five percent of hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism is associated with hyperprolactinemia, due to inhibition of hypothalamic release of LHRH. Its serum concentration must be maintained within physiological range (meaning neither too high NOR too low). Greatly elevated hyperprolactinemia, or hyperprolactinemia plus a Total Testosterone less than 150ng/dL, equals a trip to an Endocrinologist for a pituitary MRI.

Sorry, I forgot to mention we did do a pituitary MRI before starting cabergoline, which was negative. We will continue to monitor periodically just in case.
Never had prolactin issues till I hit my head pretty hard in a car accident a few years ago, that was when they started. Not sure if there's a definitive connection between head trauma and prolactin, but it seems plausible it affected my pituitary.
