HRT Wonder Drug: Prazosin
This is a great mild drug all around, but has many benifits for people that are aging and are on HRT and GH. Origionally developed as a non statin blood pressure medication the drug became used widely for more then just BP.
Main Benfits
1. Lowers Blood Pressure
2. Alpa Blocker
3. Alpha-adrenergic Blocker
4. Combats congestive heart failure
5. Inhibits Prostate Hyperplasia(possible side effect of testosterone and growth hormone )
6. Usefull in treating urinary hesitancy associated with prostatic hyperplasia
7. Shown to help reduce nightamres for people that suffer from Chronic Nightmares of PTSD.
8. Prazosin blocks some of the effects of adrenaline released in your body. This may help reduce the nightmares and sleep problems you have with PTSD.
9. Causes drowsiness which helps your sleep and calms your nerves.
10. Just a wonderful Drug often forgotten about.
Since this drug does many things and treats many symptoms related to heart and prostate enlargement and urinarmy inconsistence, sleep, blood pressure and many other things which are all important in using anabolics and HRT for life. I find it to be the single best drug out there for all of these problems and can be taken at a low dose from 8-12mg.
As with any drugs there are possible side effects, however I have not experienced any of these.
Side effects include:
Low blood pressure (hypotension).
A slow heart rate (bradycardia).
A cough or wheezing, which means the airways that carry air to the lungs are narrowing (bronchospasm).
Thinking and acting more slowly.
Stuffy nose, headache, and swelling in the legs. These are rare side effects.
See Drug Reference for a full list of side effects. (Drug Reference is not available in all systems.)

I'd like to hear what GD and Austin think about this drug. There supplament protocol is beyond extensive. Sounds like a very interesting drug. Anyone else on here try this?!

This is certainly one of interest. Great characterization by kelkel. I've never used it but I'll get a prescription and report back. I don't see anything but "good" coming from this drug.

It works through the same pathway as Clonidine, so I assume that the main side effect would be drowsiness (as it triggers the parasympathetic nervous system).
