Why not just check out Low Testosterone - $199 All-Included Testosterone Treatment

One stop shop for all TRT needs with a focus on modern therapy. Not a clinic or pill mill.

How far are you from Baton Rouge? I see a Urologist here that's pretty cool Dr. I'm sure he'd be glad to treat you if your blood work shows low T.

My doc is about a 30min drive in Covington from New Orleans.

PM me and I'll give you contact info. However he is not cheap and I'm unsure if he will treat anyone under 35 without a referral.

TraceMYD it wont let me pm you since i dont have enough post yet.

however the doc at the health clinic i been going too finally just ordered an ultrasound for me next week. so hopefully we are on the right track, i doubt it though. i mean after seeing this doc for like 10 min it was obvious they knew nothing of male hormones, she is however just a GP and said she was going to send me to an endo after the ultrasound.

if it is possible for yall to pm me the contact info bc i would still like to check out the other docs bc i dont trust mine.
It won't let me message you, i think you need to get up to 50 comments before you have that option.

Honestly, I think you need to find the root of the problem at your age, then just finding a doc to give you TRT.

I have a feeling My TRT doc would most likely send you to a Endo before even letting you fill out an application.

Yes, most GP's don't know crap about TRT.

Why don't you get a full blood panel done and post it up, I'm sure someone could give you some incite on here.

I don't think it's ignorant. I think it comes down to the scope of the dr.'s practice and the liability and risk of taking on certain patients.

Understandably, My doc only wants clients who qualify for TRT for anti aging related reasons. He may not feel qualified enough to diagnose someone and treat someone in your predicament. In that case he's actually being responsible with his practice.

Sounds like to me that Maybe these Docs are turning you down and telling you to go another route but MAYBE you are not listening... and you are just on a hunt for a doc that will
blindly give you TRT or something.

I'm sure it's frustrating to be in your position.

Personally If I was you and at that age TRT would be my last choice. I would try to find out the root of why this is happening to you at 23, maybe there is something else going on, maybe it's a gland, maybe it's a tumor that can be removed.. who knows... but it's worth it because TRT is like making a deal with the Devil.. once you are on it, it's for LIFE and if you stop you are totally F#%Ked and the Devil will come collect all that he gave you.

ive had a dr offer me trt when i was only 19....my current doctor also prescribed me hcg ...i mactually hesistant to do any of this lol.

i dont really believe in anti aging...i think that's a quack field unless you have low t.

no offense, but if you have followed my posts i have been getting tests done for 5 years..so all the maybes have turned into maybe i jsut have low t because my body has low t..and if there is something at this point it's not worth the effort trying to find it..so i dont appreciate being told i m trying to do something greedy when my t level is low as anyones and ive done the best icould do avoid trt(and still am doing so)

my comment to you was not about me, but about the fact that a guy under 35 can be more deserving of test than a guy over.

Sorry I haven't been following any of your threads. Non offense takin.

If finding a doc that's educated is your problem then why not just go to lowt.com?

I told my friend about them and he went to location in Cali. And he said the doc was very good and thorough. They even did a prostate exam which caught him off guard. lol

They have a location in Houston I think, that's only a 6hour drive from New Orleans.

They also have a travel reimbursement plan too if you want to fly.

This may be the best option and although it may be a initially be a pain to travel to Houston. It may be the fastest way to find out what's going on and prevent anymore time being wasted talking to uneducated docs. Ya know?

    i need a legit doc

ive had bloods taken three times since last summer

1st test level was 275, doc told me come back in a month. did that and it was like 350.

i will try to post all the bloods later once i figure out how to use my scanner

and just to throw it out there, im not some guy set on trt, im not a body builder, im just tired of feeling like an 80 year old man and need legit medical help from a knowledgeable doc
So are you going to get varicocele fixed?

I was at a fertility clinic in new orleans recently. They had a pretty knowledgable doc and endo on staff. They are always dealing with hormones. Over there so It may be a route to explore to find a good doc or endo.

I could really use your doctor's name. I live in South Baton Rouge.

Hey... I had a stupid testosterone pellet inserter, whom I trust as a doctor in every other field, ruin my life about 2 1/2 months ago. She waaaaaaaaay overdosed me and my body is torn up with stress. I am not functioning at all. I am incapacitated. My TT is down to 1450 though.... . Doesn't matter when your bod rejects it. I am losing my balls and she has no idea what to do with hcg during trt and/or nolva/clomid later.

    Thank u so much!!!!!

Any idea if he'd be willing to help a guy who had BioTE test pellets placed in him with disastrous results with a current doctor who won't prescribe HCG ? I have been on for 3 months and I have at least 3 to go. My test has been around 1400 the whole time and my testicles just started really shrinking. My right one is rapidly shrinking. My current doc is scared to give hcg because she might lose her license!?!? Wow! Is Atkinson worth the visit? If you have any other advice.... please let me know. I am scared to death! Need help quick! Ironically, kind of, the famous Dr Larry Lipshultz was my doc in Houston!!!!! Obviously, not a convenient drive any longer! U can email me here... created it for this issue: trthcg05 at gmail dot com

He does the pellets, gels or shots. Whichever you prefer. As for HCG I've never taken it or ask for it, but I'm sure he'll work with you on that. My jewels were already dried up before I started TRT, didn't figure there was any need to worry with it since I feel like a million bucks since starting TRT and can't imagine feeling any better. I'm 53 and have no intentions of having anymore kids, HCG hasn't been on my radar.

Well... That went HORRIBLY. Thanks for the suggestion, but he is in the stone age as far as ANY druqs like hCG or even Clomid. Said it would "mess up everything." He said that for on or after my TRT! He even called me a "druq seeker." That really pissed me off. I was giving him all the rope in the world and just made a small suggestion after he stated all his ideas. His idea: "Wait and see for the next couple years." Let them keep shrinking and.... "wait it out!" Not good!
