I have felt progressively better moving from 1x100mg T [I.M.] weekly to 2x50mg T [I.M.] weekly, 2x50 T [SQ] weekly, at this point cut anastrozole usage in half but that's another story! to my current,10 months, protocol of 3x50mg T [SQ]. after 2 years of progress on TRT this current regime saw me drop 7.5 pounds of fat and gain 11.5 pounds of LBM, cant say just because of going SQ but feel very consistent all week and dialed in, the draw with a 29 gauge is quick and easy

He didn't say anything about your creatinine? Not saying anything is wrong it's just really high. Surprised your egfr was that good.

I will definitely be following this post...very intrigued. Do you make a point to inject even slower than you would with IM? No pain in the injection site? I'd inject in my stomach fat...I don't think I have much fat above my glutes as some have mentioned above. Good luck!!

I go for blood work tomorrow, so I'll see what SC has done for me. Since I have changed to SC in the glute area, my feeling has been more consistent than IM. Still not super great, but mucho better. I'm hoping my levels are increased from the 556ng/dl from last test. This time I will ask for:

    Total Testosterone
    Bioavailable Testosterone
    Free Testosterone
    Estradiol
    SBHG
    LH
    FSH
    CBC
    Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
    Lipid Profile
    PSA
    IGF-1, IGFBP-3
    Vitamin D

Last time he only checked for total T and E.

I try to drink 1.5 gallons per day, I don't always get that much down, but I always get 1 gallon down per day. What part made you think I am not getting enough? I have to admit that I do not understand all of the results, or even what a lot of the items listed are.

Don't know why the doc didn't mention that, I don't really know what that is anyway.

Its an indicator of possible kidney dysfunction, maybe your just a huge bodybuilder or take in tons of protien that your body can't get rid of the muscle waste, I would at least bring it up at your next visit.

Kidney levels are a little high. If you were fasting and not drinking before the test could be the reason. Nothing to worry about just keep a eye on it. Take a look at your supplements some can cause elevated levels.

GFA has a terrific thread on SQ vs. IM. I'll see if I can locate it. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please post it. TRT isn't a one size fits all I've come to learn. The meds recommended *seem* to be almost the same (with of course doses varying anywhere from 100mg. to 200mg. 2X weekly seems to be the range) but the administration of what works best for the patient can differ and that's what GFA's thread points out.

I gave my Urologist the PM study - his words, "Well you can't get any more of a pure study than that - giving women a male hormone to see what happens?" Sold him immediately. He was also interested that they sought 608ng/dl as the mean test level. Helped me out big time. He said that if they sought that for the transgender patients, then why can't male patients have that too. Good point by him as it shows they needed around a mean level of 608 to be normal as a male (or as close as they will ever get - hah).

Bump! Could this have implications for sub q injection of other hormones? Also, if one were to switch from IM to SQ, how long should they combine both, as to transition from IM to SQ without test dropping too low?

FR, is that 80 mg of cyp or 80mg actual T? When on 70mg T my level went from 400 to 1350, so have reduced to 50 mg T - hope to settle around 800. JH.
