Did my Test jab today and hit a blood vessel.
Just a story for you guys. Been on TRT of just over 12 months, inject twice a week and I always aspirate . I sort of pin yourself pull back and see and air bubble, no big deal. Today, pulled back and the syringe filled with blood, slightly horrified and thought thank god to myself I always aspirate as I would have had a horrible 10 minutes or so thinking I was going to die. So my lesson learned today, ALWAYS ASPIRATE as the odds are one day you will hit a blood vessel. My odds are about 100-1.

Good Job. Even though it is more like a 1000-1 you will hit a vessal. The one time you forget not to aspirate and you hit a vessal... you will never forget again. If you do. Just stay calm and the SOB and coughing will pass within a few minutes.

Also, if you hit a vessel, is that injection not effective because it's in the blood and not muscle and will be cleaned out of your system by the liver or kidneys? Should you do another injection?

That injection is still good. It's just getting into blood system quicker. All good!

But is it slow releasing in the blood like in the muscle or would I be getting a the whole dose at once, meaning it would be out of my system quicker?

It won't be out any quicker half life still same. Just some of it got into system quicker via bloodstream. Not enough to matter or you would have dropped to you knees super hot flash nasty taste wow !
