Question about switching form IM to SubQ test injections.

After reading about the the success people are having with subQ injections I think it's pointless to continue IM. No reason to be putting an inch long needle in my muscle with the added risk of hitting nerves and veins. People here have stated that it takes a little longer for your levels to peak using subq. The question I have is Is there going to be a build up period where I initially see a decline in my levels when I switch? I'm currently on 40mgs x 2 week. Plan on using a 29g insulin syringe and injecting around the belly button area. Any other tips or advise would be appreciated.

I didn't noticed anything when I switched. according to the Canadian study they have shown that fat absorbs a little slower but not enough to make a difference in test levels, however just barley enough to make a difference in e2 conversion. I wouldn't worry about build up period, but t hen again everyone is different!

Not to hijack, but I think this is a good follow up question; is 6 weeks long enough to be on subQ to than test your levels?

As I have recently made the switch from IM to SubQ, I will give my opinion. I feel better than ever. Most is probably because I went from 1 IM shot per week to 2 sub q. But I'm on week 3 of sub q and I feel good. I don't think there will be any build up period to worry about.

I switched 3 weeks ago, immediate drop in libido and energy. I'm sure it's because of how slow subq is. I was about to quit but I'm sticking it out so to speak. Used bass's technique of splitting my 50mg dose into two areas. I was getting lumps in the stomach and love handles so I just tried the outer upper thigh fat last night. Much better so far, no lumps and can't even tell where I did it. I'll be able to compare blood to IM in a few weeks. I was/am converting a lot to estrogen, hoping along with easier shots I have less of that too.

    Good Luck!

Although I am Hsvung difficulties with my protocol at this point, I found that sub-q injections to be superior.

I'm "hyper secretor" and my injected test levels peak fast with IM injections (less than 24 hours) and the sub-q injection split up between multiple areas worked well. My estrogen spike was no where near as bad.
