?'s for "NEW" doctor ( maybe something you wish you clarified with yours...)

i "HAD" a doctor who started me off with 100mg cyp. every week. i asked him if i should be taking either HCG or an AI in conjunction with the cyp. his answer was no. i've had sore nipples now for 2 weeks ( no tissue build-up yet ). he gave me arimidex /anastrozole which i have been taking. pain and irritation on nipples a little better but, still there. now after 2 days of trying to get him to order me a SERM ( nolvadex or i've read good things about raloxifene/evista). i have yet to hear an answer. i have made a couple appointments with some other local urologists. since i will be starting over with a "NEW" doctor. i would like some feed back on questions that i should be asking. in a previous thread i was told by KEL/KEL this "If you go to another doctor's office call them first and speak to one of the nurses. Simply ask them if the doc will treat you with test, HCG and an AI if necessary. Tell them you don't want to waste his time and yours by taking up an appointment if not." if i am understanding his advice correctly. i should see if the "NEW" doctor will give both cyp. and hcg together. anyway thanks for your time and any advice that you could give would be greatly appreciated..

Even when my E was in the teens, for the first four weeks I had nipple sensitivity. My GP started me off like you with 100mg and no AI. I freaked out cause I had gyno surgery 4 1/2 months ago. A week after starting TRT I started arimidex . Just last week my sensitivity went away. I think my body was adjusting for those first four weeks. Kel told me he still has sensitive nips and he has to work to keep his E up.

Kel's advice is spot on. Some nurses, PAs, NPs might answer this question. Most probably would not - at least from my experience. You have nothing to lose by asking.

My experience: I have an excellent urologist. He doesn't want to hear about hCG - period. Probably would give an ai if blood work indicated it. I go to another doc who prescribes Test Cyp. Also doesn't want to discuss hCG. Ai if necessary.

What I do: I don't fight these guys. I get my script for test cyp and buy my hCG and anastrozole from overseas Safemeds4all.com - or Liquidex from Ar-r right here.

so you are taking hCG and anastrozole while on the cyp? what amount of each are you taking weekly. just trying to figure out what i should start taking weekly with 100mg cyp. i want to get a steady schedule going before i take my next blood work in. so that i can have some consistency.

Yeah, the 1mg pill. I was taking .25 2xweek. That had me at 14.1 (7.6-42.6). Now my doc has me splitting .25 2xweek. Pain in the but to cut it evenly. My E was high because my test was low. It flipped over when I raised my T and I think the AI put me in the gutter. I think everyone should have some nolvadex on hand but I had gyno and Im paranoid. You should be ok if you don't feel tissue forming. My nips still get a little sensitive the day after injections.

Yes, I'm taking both. 250iu hCG EOD, Anastrozole .25mg every 5-6 days. I take it on the night of the 5th day because it makes me tired after I take it. So I just go to sleep. I'm still finding my way with this so I've got to see how it works out. It seemed I need adex more often when I was on Androgel so this is surprising to me.

Try Liquidex if you're having trouble cutting the pills into 8ths. It's liquid Anastrozle and you can control the dose easily with the syringe that comes with it.

1/8 2xweek now. Haha. Pill cutter, very carefully. its a little off but a long as I take both peices the same week its .25 a week. I'm gonna try liquidex.
