    Brand name test vs Compounded

Any of you gents start TrT using Retail Test Cyp (Phizer Depo-Cyp) then switch to a compound pharm for Cyp and notice any difference? I been feeling out of wack since i went the compound route, (using a very known compound pharm, one thats mentioned in this forum quite often, also recommended by Nelson Vergal, so i confident its legit. My energy and stamina level has plummeted since donating blood ..which was shortly after starting with the compounded test....going on 3 weeks now and still dont feel back to normal...going to see the doc soon for labs...just curious if anyone else has noticed a difference of any kind after switching to compounded test.

Are there any additional changes in your TRT protocol before using a compounding pharmacy? Do you have any recent labs for comparison?

regarding compounding pharmacy testosterone and name brand, yes the only thing I noticed on the compounded test is the expiration date, 3-6 months, after the expiration date I was getting infections, red circles and swelling at injection site. I tried 2 vials that were expired by two months and had to toss them. as far as potency they were the same.

In my opinion, there shouldn't be any difference between name brand and compounded in terms of potency and effectiveness. Of course, this is assuming the compounding pharmacy is using quality powders and ingredients. Compounding pharmacies have the same access to ingredients as name brand. Basic, standard Test-Cyp should be the same if made by Watson or your local compounding pharmacy. Yes, there are bad compounding pharmacies out there, but there are plenty of good ones.

One good thing about compounding pharmacies is they can do some things you can't do with name brand. Using Watson Cyp as an example again...that product comes one way and one way only. If you buy Cyp from a compounding pharmacy you can have them compound it to your needs. For example, they can add more or less alcohol. They can change the base oil they mix it with. They can also add things like zinc if you want them to. This will never be possible with name brand.

Thanks for the responses...sounds like my issues are not related to the compounded test. More than likely the loss of enrgy and stamina has something to do with the blood donation....i guess i will just have to wait on the labs to know whats goin on with me...been over 3 weeks since donating blood and still not feeling back yo normal!

I have used both and never noticed a difference.....I have given blood before and felt a little different that day, but never for as long as you have. Please let us know how the blood work comes out.

It's all the same unless a mistake is made. Hell, we had someone on here earlier this year with some Watson that crashed.

I've used both and have seen the same benefits and results.
