Low T at 20 years old: my story. Where to from here?

I am 22 years old. I was diagnosed with low testosterone in January 2012. I got a test as i felt like ass for while and had no idea what it was. here is the blood work.

    Total testosterone - 6.8 nmol/L. Normal range 8-30 nmol/L.
    SHBG- 31 nmol/L. Normal range 17-66 nmol/L
    FAI- 21.9%. Normal range 23.3-103%
    FHS- 4.8 IU/L. Normal range 1-18
    LH- 2.1 IU/L. Normal range 1-12
    Prolactin- 6.9ug/L. Normal range <20

Had MRI and came back normal pituitary.

I believed it was caused by strict dieting and intense training, and occasional binge drinking. I was on an overseas holiday for 2 weeks, where I drank every day, smoked cigarettes every day, took speed once, and took viagra once, due to not being able to get an erection for the first time in my life. I was dieting and training very hard for year previous to the trip.

I have never used steroids .

I had 4 additional tests over the next 2 months then endo put me on Reandron 1000 in late Feb. I read about how try is for life and tried to make the best out of a bad situation and saw a thread about cycling with try. I was interested as I thought well Im on it for life anyway so may as well (dumb). I quickly realised how stupid that was as I barely even started try. I was simply trying to find the best of a bad position. Therefore I dropped that idea very quickly once I knew the risks.

Reandron was average and I decided to try and come off TRT and told my endo I wont take it any more as I wanted to make sure I had low T before committing for life and he agreed. I came off cold turkey. I never wanted to be on TRT. But i needed to feel good again I couldnt take the pain anymore. I couldnt even have sex with gf, everything was shit. I am still young so this was a lot to take in and process.

After 3 months no trt, my test level only reached 8nmol/l (8-26 normal).
The cause was never found for low T.

I was in fear of losing my gf who I loved very much and still felt average and saw another test specialist who put me on testogel.
Worst feeling Ive ever had. Painful testes, no libido, depression.
Went back to doc after 1.5 months and switched to Primoteston depot (test e) 175mg/week with 1mg of arimidex as per advice on this forum. Blood results were good with test at 26nmol/L and E2 in range.

I FELT AMAZING! libido through the roof, happiness, could have sex with my gf day and night as a 21 year old should! Life was back on track. This continued on for many months and I regained lost days in my youth which I valued so highly.

I still felt great until I tore my labrum in Sep 2012 soon after starting arimidex and primoteston.
I then tore my right labrum in other shoulder in Feb 2013 doing squats.

Although I had felt good for many months on primo and ai, I stopped the AI in March 2013 and lowered T dose to 100mg/week which I am currently on due to the chance it caused the injury.

I refuse to let this beat me but now I have a torn knee meniscus, my joints all crack, and now my hips clunk. I fear my body is destroyed at age 22.

I am going to go see another Endo who specialises in androgens. I have told her my story and she wants to take me off TRT to find the cause of the TRT.

You guys in this forum have already helped so much and without you guys Id be screwed. I can at least still feel good, study, and be happy with my gf (despite the injuries).

Although I now feel amazing and live a happy life, i fear if i dont let the endo take over, things will get worse. The first 2 endos may have helped me ruin my body and I am scared to go to another.

I try and stay positive every day! But sometimes it feels like i have got no hope for a healthy future.

    My question is,
    1) Do you think this TRT destroyed my joints or is it coincidence? I train with perfect technique however I have poor mobility and flexibility which could cause injury.

    3) Is there still hope for a recovery?

Only post if helpful I already regret all my efforts in trying to get on top of it.

most likely TRT did not cause you injuries, you probably did with bad form or lifting more than you can handle. in my opinion its a bad idea to mess with what's working for you, you simply need to back off from lifting and do simple exercises until you fully recover. stop looking for instant results, Patience is the key to a successful outcome for anything.

i know with steroids people get injured bc they are improving faster than their bodies can handle, but trt if dosed right should help injuries and muscle recovery..although if you made crazy gains perhaps you could have gotten increased risk.

when u lift heavy sometimes even good form can cause injuuries...atleast u know trt made u feel good bro and didnt stop when the first endo screwed u up.

injuries suck..i have a herniated disc, and at its worst iwas basically paralized....luckily it got to manageable in a week, but i still have some pains and am grateful for my inversion chair

I do agree feeling good is so important. I just see so many posts from young guys on here and I feel I should never have started. Im happy now, but in 10 years time, would I regret not trying to come off now and give this endo a chance?
