dog, i showed your posts to one of the females on the trt board, and she had this to say

They do naturally occur in the body and for normal people without thyroid or low test problems their body is producing them on its own and converting but when you add t3 you are adding something your body isn't making. Test gets lowered. The way to fix it is just increase your dosage of test. It may be way higher than the person with no thyroid issues.
This dude answer probably doesn't have a thyroid issue

    I disagree.
By this "female on a TRT board"'s logic: the millions of people worldwide who are taking a T4/T3 combo or dissected pigs thyroid such as Armour all have lowered testosterone and thus need to also take testosterone meds.
Also, someone on TRT without HCG doesn't produce testosterone so how can taking T3 cause them to produce less of something they aren't producing.
And if someone is taking HCG and thus producing testosterone how exactly would the T3 interfere?

Is this female on a TRT board someone who posts on a forum?

Also you quote "if you are adding something your body isn't making... Test gets lowered." Well if I drink water or eat food does my test gets lowered? How about a vitamin? Or Clomid? Or HCG?

I would need to understand at least some reason why bringing someone to healthy T4/T3 levels would lower test.
I still believe that excessive T4/T3 levels cause muscle wasting through weight loss caused by increased metabolism.

idk if the hcg thing was related to me, but im neither on hcg nor trt, and only recently started 25 mg clomid mwf ebven though i feel no different might as well just do it for shits and gigles until my appt in november.

btw you never told me if you think my free t3 and free t4 look ok despite a high tsh. i posted them on the first page id like your opinion .

idk, i just feel like it would do me no good to take something that would speed up my metabolism and make me catabolic..im happy now that my metabolism has slowed a little..it's still kind of fast.

it's confusing knowing whether to tackle thyroid first or testosterone first as ive heard thyroid first, but then she says testosterone.

she claims her testosterone is in the 900s(shes on trt) and that he thyroid meds bound up all of her t so her free t is around 5. she also told me that crisler said the same thing about thyroid meds.

I would do 1 thing at a time, and change one thing at a time and this is how all good docs work, Crisler had me do 1 thing at a time and no AI or HCG until my test lvl got a good reading a few times, then you adjust. If you do 2-3 things at one time and it works or you feel worse then you have no idea what did what.

I would get your test #'s good as you are doing now, once that is done and leveled off then you can work on your thyroid. And thyroid is a LOT easier to get done then test and a lot of docs know it, it's only T3 / T4 and most take T4 AM and T3 2x a day if they need it.

Also once I got my test lvl done my TSH got better and my IGF went up so just do what you are doing and give it some TIME, that's the biggest thing man, I am like you I eat a pill and want to feel better in a few min and it takes a few weeks lol. That's why I spent the 10k+ to get all the bloodwork and get 3 diff docs working with my on my diet / test / lifestyle to feel as good as I can and it STILL took about 1 year to get everything dialed in.

im very curious what shippen's approach will be...i mean i still dont know if im primary or secondary...yeah i got to 631 on clomid, but my lh had to be over 11 to do it..im thinking my balls arent working optimally. I also know a lot of guy's neve even feel better on clomid or hcg so idk what he will say....should be interesting and hopefully worth it.

i also changed my primary care dr to a guy who has an anti aging practice. worst case scenaio i work with shippen and atleast i have a dr who understands low t is important....best case i can just work with this guy after i see shippen. I dont think the primary care doc is too up to date though...but i will see.

You know your lvls are spot on when the back hair kicks in

Also I did what you are doing, get all your shit straight with the high end doc and keep a local doc for scripts and blood-work, again once dialed in not much if anything changes.
