    Which LABS do i get?

    Hey guys,
been battling constant fatigue regardless of my test and estro levels being in range.
Want to do a full thyroid and adrenal panel but I need to know which labs to pull.

    TSH
    Free t4
    Free t3
    Rt3
    Thyroid Antibodies
    DHEA-S
    aldosterone
    ACTH
    Cortisol-AM

    Am I missing anything?

Go to the "Finding a TRT Physician" thread in the main section of this forum; under the 1st post there is a Initial Labwork writeup; it has a list of panels that you can run.

On the cortisol, look at doing a 4x saliva.

Additionally ... B12, Iron (TIBC, saturation), ferritin, D-3. Definitely include the standard CBC's, metabolic & lipid panels as well.

I didn't get a chance to see your previous labs. What were your test serum, free, & E2 results?

    Thanks Vette
    total t 819
    free t 19.2 (9-26)
    estradiol sensitive 19 (3-70)

    So I'm thinking

    Total Testosterone
    Free Testosterone
    SHBG
DHT (gel users especially pay attention to this)
Estradiol (specify “sensitive” assay for males)
    Prolactin
    Cortisol
    TSH
    Free t4
    Free t3
    Rt3
    Thyroid Antibodies
    CBC
    Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
    Lipid Panel
    PSA (age dependent)
    IGF-1,
    Vitamin D
    b-12
    DHEA-s
    Aldosterone
    ACTH
    Iron
    TIBC
    Ferritin

Great numbers, and 2.34% on your free test! You can't ask for much better on that. If you're taking some AI, you might be able to feather back on the dosage a little. E2 is different for everyone, but I've always been at my best when E2 (same sensitive assay) is in the 25 to 35 range. For me personally, fatigue seemed to be a factor when my E2 got below 20 (crashing is even worse). Not saying that's your situation, but maybe it's a minor variable contributing to the situation.

Your BW requisition looks excellent! I think you've covered it.

    hmm thanks for the advice,,,
no ai here though but I definitely felt better at 100mgs per week when my estrogen was higher, libido and mood wise. The bloods I posted were from 84mgs per week.
    What's your protocol?
