Test levels surge after changing gell application site
My testosterone levels surged recently and I suspect this is due to changing the application site of Androgel -- from shoulders/chest to forearms.
What follows is a little bit of background in case something else may be at play.
After a four month trial of HCG mono therapy, I decided in early November to return to testosterone (and continue with HCG). My TT levels had returned to below 200 and I was definitely not myself again.
On November 5, I began two pumps of Androgel 1.62% per day. On December 9, I was feeling better and bloodwork showed the following: TT 472 (380-890) and FT 126 (47-244).
In early January I came across a video by Dr Crisler that suggested better absorption was likely using the forearms instead of the recommended shoulders and upper chest. I gave it a try and was very surprised by bloodwork results on January 23: TT 1192 and FT 370. (Note: I did not apply the gell to my forearms on the day bloodwork was done to avoid contamination.)
My hunch is the new application site is behind the surge, although HCG may be playing some delayed role. In any event, I'm thrilled with the results and have cut my dose to one pump per day.

to a certain extent, absorption rates are effected by skin thickness at the application site....
...this is why you do not put "normal" gel on your scrotum,
....and gel you use on your scrotum is non effective anywhere else.
