    Age-appropriate normal T numbers

We all know that the so-called "normal" range of 241-827 or 300-1100 or even 129-767 is useless for diagnostic purposes as T levels naturally decline with age. What's normal for a healthy 75 year old would be low for a 25 year old.

Here's a couple studies that give average and standard deviations for healthy men in age groups.

Interesting data. The drop off with age is smaller than I realized (large sample study).

I've seen that and to me the most interesting part is the slow elevation in SHBG levels as we age.

I'll take the levels of what's "normal" for a twenty five year old any day.
