Hey fellas - have not been on in quite a while. First thread I come to and I am really glad to see it. There were some on this board that actually promoted trying to get to an exact number on E2, I think they were drinking someone's cool aid. A couple of years ago it was widely believed that if you were in the 20-30 range you were in the target range.

I know everyone has their own thresholds - high and low - but they are their own, and everyone needs to find those with some basic guidelines as are in this thread.

What are the symptoms if you crash your E? I have heard sore/clicking joints and libido/erection issues. Any others?

depression, lack of energy, moodiness.

As I understand it, many symptoms of high and low E2 are the same.

What would be good is a separate list of symptoms unique to high E2, and another list of symptoms unique to low E2.

Bloat is one associated with high estrogen.

It's difficult with most of the pill cutter. The most success I've had (almost every time) is with the $2 pill cutter from Family Dollar. Works great.

The symptoms I personally experience with high E2 is a very noticeable loss of energy and libido. Erections are weaker and morning and night erections decrease. Low E2 is almost the same except my energy level doesn't suffer as much.

My libido is great with higher e2 but lije you said the erections are weak

My symptoms for both are identical. I've learned through trial and error with corresponding BW how to tell.

I cant wait to get "dialed in". The Estrogen aspect of TRT is something I never knew about. Glad I found this board its been more than helpful. My doc is very open minded and seems to know what he is doing but I think with his help and the help of the experience on this board I will be where I need to be soon enough.

I don't get bloated, but that could be that I already take a diuretic. But then the highest I've been is 60, and 20 on the low side. My sweet spot seems to be at around mid 30's.
