    Lab COrp lagging>?

anyone else notice how private md labs which most guys who pay out of pocket for the female hormonal panel use, is lagging now for free testosterone . It says it takes a week when you order now.

I just was tested and usually receive my results the next day, and my doctor told me after 4 days it was going to take another 10 days to get the results, but even their site says it now so it's not just my doctor I guess.

Just wondering why it's all the sudden taking longer

Thankfully I haven't had labcorp in a while. I use Quest labs. They are pretty fast. They even have a phone app that sends the results to your phone as soon as they're in. The only test that takes a while with them is the estradiol ultra sensitive.

I sat outside my local Labcorp office last Wednesday morning, I'm anxious to find out my testosterone level now that I started HCG off the books, as it were, so I'm anxious and a little nervous. While I was sitting there for a half an hour, I overheard someone else talking about their online site which posts results, so I asked about it and set it up, expecting results in a day or two NO. First, they send results to your doctor.

I will say that there used to be a Nurse at Labcorp I absolutely loved, she ran the whole place by herself and had me in and out in 10 minutes. Once she said I looked like a movie star, he he. Those days are over!!!

I also looked into ordering tests on my own, so I could get a REAL ****ing read on where I am WHEN I wanted to know it, but the site says no, you need a doctor's RX, which actually saves me a fortune.....can I write up my own lab work and mail it into blue cross on a claim? I don't think so.

Good luck, my Labcorp is literally 5 minutes away from me, so I'm in it for the long haul. It may be they're in the struggling stages of Obamacare changing everything, I know my Urologist hates it, he's an old dog and doesn't like these new computer tricks. My Neurologist got out of Med School like....last year, and she is more in tune with this newfangled computer logic. The girls at Labcorp??....not so much.

Yeah. I've recently had trouble with Labcorp too. Doc's office requested the sensitive and it came back with the female panel. Quest and Labcorp are both close by so I might just ask the office to send my blood to Quest to cut through all this horse shite.

The reason some of you are able to get your lab results directly from LabCorp and others cannot is dependent on the state you live in. Each state has varying laws and several require that blood results can only be issued to the patient by a doctor, therefore, in those cases you cannot get them directly from LabCorp. Other labs, online or otherwise, that do not follow this are technically breaking the law of that particular state. However, that doesn't seem to be an issue that's pushed that often but a big company like LabCorp or Quest usually won't risk it, not worth it.

Labcorp has been good to me. The results are usually available in about 4-5 business days after the draw. They post them to my Beacon account.

So my question is can you still go to privited MD labs and order your BW your self and get them done at a lab core without them sending them to your doc?

To where you can can them your self? How long does that take usually?
