Reandron/Nebido Week 1

Hi guys new to this forum,

Have started trt a week ago was diagnosed with primary hypogonadism earlier this year. Would like to know what your experiences have been with Reandron/Nebido so far, I have read through some of the posts and learned quite a bit any information or experiences would be appreciated.

Given Reandron 1000mg IM, so far feeling good only side effect is the hot flashes which I have been having for a couple nights. Felt better straight after the injection not sure whether imagining it or injection working immediately have been told that I need to wait until week 6 for the booster shot then test levels should come up. Have had low T for past couple years not feeling good during this time, last bw Testosterone : 5.9 nmol/l.

If you use the search function, there are a couple threads on this forum by die hard Nebido fans.

The hospital I go to liked to push Nebido in the past, but it was a problem for some because they would crash early and the doctors wouldn't respond.

Patience Ham, patience. This will take time to build serum levels up but will be well worth it. Read the link above, it's a good one. We'd love to see pre-TRT blood work and your next couple as well. Nebido / Aveed is relatively new in the states and it may help some members here.

Found the injection itself not to be painful but the injection site to be a bit sore for a couple days after administration.

Thank you the link was very informative, have been following marcus and yettibecsuse posts they have had good results. Others have reported the therapy is not working for them I hope it is not the same for me as my prolactin levels are elevated and prolactin suppresses testosterone .

I'm interested in reading yur updates as well as I may decide to jump on Nebido as well next year.
I have done a bit of reading on it and it seems like the long intervals protocols may be a bit exaggerated (if that makes sense...) .
I found one guy who recommended the 1st dose interval to be 3 weeks, then 4 weeks then stay at 5 weeks indefinitely. I have read about guys doing pins every 8 or even 9 weeks and they all seemed to concur that this was far too long and disappointing.
How often are your shot intervals going to be?'

You're welcome, I know what you mean some people have reported they are fine up until week 12 while others report a drop around week 7 and require a injection earlier I guess it varies from person to person. With every 5 weeks would your levels remain consistently high? My second injection is 6 weeks after the first then every 12 weeks from then on, will have to wait to see what happens if I experience a significant drop will push to have the injections every 10 weeks instead. Will keep everyone updated on how the trt is going

I am Reandron 1000 user. Its my 7th week and my 2nd shot was today. Let me.tell you i was hypogonadal for a while before even i knew my TT was 8nmol or 300 ng/dl approx.

Tested 3 times in the morning everytime low my symptoms were low libido and no muscle recovery after weight training session. Anyway got put on Reandron 1000 4ml it seems it works straightaway i was benching 150kg same day after 6 hrs my usuall is only 120 kg libido and nocturnal errections were back on 2nd week and strength,libido and morning errections only lasted 4 weeks. Basically for last 2 weeks i feel crappier than pre trt. My body metabolized within 4 weeks.

I will update you in another 4 weeks from today as today was my 2nd shot lot less painful too. Watch your PSA closely hemeatocrit is not an issue with Reandron as it is very slow release but it must be monitored along with PSA and liver functions.

Let me know how you are doing on it make sure you got baseline PSA tested.

Hey thanks a lot for sharing your experience I had the same symptoms as you regarding libido and recovery not sure if I have noticed a real improvement just yet. Also noticed that it works straight away to felt a lot more energetic after the injection, been reading through the forum some suggest that it takes a few injections to build up and it differs from person to person depending on how fast they metabolize the testosterone hopefully my levels don't drop too much before the next shot. Might be hindering my success with reandron as I am currently overweight, recently quit smoking and have deranged liver function from binge drinking also elevated prolactin levles... All will be included in my next blood test in 6 weeks I will post the results.

I'm every 10wks the now nebido but i feel it on the 8th wk so i'm hoping to get it dropped to every 8wks when i see my endo in a few wks. Apart from that i'm doing great I've been using it about 1 year now i think lol.

I'm glad that you are doing well and have committed to staying on nebido gives me reassurance in the therapy. 8 weeks seems to be a common drop off point best of luck getting the dose intervals reduced, what were your testosterone levels pre-treatment and current levels?

here is a little update: 2nd Injection 4ml Reandron, I am on 2nd week as I administered the 2nd shot last week so far, I am same as the 5th and 6th week of my first shot which is no libido, or nocturnal errections. Muscle strength is somewhat weak in gym but muscles are fuller.

Could be an e2 issue I won't know this for sure until I get my blood work done.

started low dose zinc and see if it improve..

Think I am experiencing the same symptoms as you. I'm my third week in from the first injection first two weeks felt really good this week low T symptoms returning feeling lazy no energy. Don't think my injection was done properly the nurse might have injected partly subq then IM, it was slowly injected all the way through. From what I understand IM injections you inject into the muscle in a quick jab motion aspirate then slowly plunge.

It left a bump as I mentioned in my other post, it is frustrating to experience a drop so early and not due from next one for another three weeks.

My blood panel will show hopefully what's going on I just find whole situation bizarre first 4 weeks after first shot I have erections nocturnal and high libido then all of the sudden thing stopped I even had sexual dreams which I never remember when I had them last when I was 14 yr old or something.

In my opinion this 4ml injection cause huge spike in T when first injected and our e2 shoots up with it at the same time and now my body probably overloaded with e2 from T to E2 conversion via aromatase. Hence no more erections or libido in my case.

No sign of gyne or itch around nipples yet.

No idea why physicians do not prescribe low dose AI for this massive 4ml. Why wait for side effects to show up first. Anyway enough of the rant. Will post the blood work in coming weeks.

I might even ask Test Enanthate instead and do weekly shots less e2 conversion with smaller dose anyway. This is the way our body natural testosterone work small doses but regular.

This injection was done in the lower back area felt the needle going into my back I think the nurse was meant to do it in the gluteus medius and injected incorrectly ( I have high bf ) must have thought it was the correct area. Have a family member who is a nurse and has confirmed that the injection is to far up and is in the back area.

Going back to the Dr in a few days to see what is up? most likely wont have another injection as it is strict protocol and he is a cun t, not sure what to do nurses are incompetent...

will post full blood work in 2 weeks

how are you feeling now mate. Long time no hear. I am on 5th week, 3 more week until I get more blood work done. On 8th week my dr wants blood test done.

Strength is slightly up, very weak morning wood and hot flash is back on the 5th week....

2 days after second injection still feeling like shit, somethings not right no energy or libido must be the injection site and my body not being able to absorb the testosterone ? feeling how I did pre-trt its like I didn't receive the second injection.

I will get a blood test done exactly one week from injection 2 my testosterone should be peaking during this time, then will visit the dr to see what is happening. Interested to see how your blood results are on week 8 will post my results in another 2 weeks, sorry haven't been posting much have felt fine up until a few days ago.

Btw feeling alot better this week possible e2 issue? wont know for sure until next week after bw. Do you think it would be ok to take cypionate towards the end of the 12 week period when my T levels come down only for the next couple injections?

Don't do that. Get dialed in and reduce the weeks in between if needed (with doc's consent.) Don't add to it and skew your numbers and hence your BW.

My only point is to get established with your TRT protocol for a while and dial it in. It takes time. You'll be amazed the progress you can make with the test levels of a much younger man.

No shit! Well, I'm sorry to hear this happened at your age and I'm happy the technology exists to solve the issue! Fill us in more on your diagnoses and what may have caused your primary hypogonadism please.

7 weeks after starting trt (Exactly one week after injection 2):

Testosterone - 14.3 nmol/L
RBC - 5.68 X10e12/L
PSA - 0.5 ug/L

Nice. What's the range on your Testosterone lab?

Hi all, I am a 54 yo have felt unwell for a long time.. Recently my nipples become so sore and I couldn't remember the last erection I had. I went to have some test.. My testosterone levels were zero, I wasn't making any. I had my first injection and it was reandron® 1000 - about 3 days ago.. I tell you I cannot wait to feel better, my next injection is in 5 weeks.. Cheers and thanks for any feedback


I still haven't felt any changes.. I suppose it take 2 or 3 injections before you feel a change, anyone out there been through the same I would love to hear from them.

12 Days after injection 4:

Testosterone - 16.6 nmol/L (8.7 - 29.0)
Free Test. - 514 pmol/L (198- 619)
Prolactin - 339 mIU/L (70 -300) High
RBC - 6.10 X10e12/L (4.30 - 6.00) High

Currently on 10 week intervals, I am a bit worried about the RBC and thinking about donating blood. Aside from the high values of prolactin and RBC I am feeling good and notice a improvement with each injection, test levels are not that great but I am glad that they are improving.
