Once per week injections
Thoughts on me changing my protocol from 2x per wk injections to only once per week to endure less pinning. I'm on 80mgs test E only.

You'll feel better on twice a week. Less up and down feeling. Some here pin low dose every day with an insulin syringe. SQ of course.

Thanks 2sox. What gauge needle? Must be difficult to draw and inject due to thickness.

I say give it a go and see how you feel, maybe at such a low dose you wont notice a difference...give it a few weeks and see for yourself and if you don't like it you can always go back....my 2 cents...

I appreciate your 2 cents, I just might do that. What about you guys out there who are on once per week, do you notice a difference by the end of the week?

I use a 29 gauge, 1/2 inch needle. With low dose, it takes me longer to take my morning supplements than it does to draw and inject. No scarring and you don't feel a thing. No ups and downs. A nice, steady state release. You can even add hCG to the same syringe without an issue. It's really easier than you could imagine.

Thanks 2sox. That protocol seems to make a lot of sense. Perhaps it's something I should address with my Endo.

When I started TRT I was on once per week injections. Then, because of everything on here I switched to twice per week. I feel better since being on twice per week but I still felt great with once per week. I think you'll be fine.

From my experience, the protocols discussed on the forum are cutting edge. FDA administration of T Cyp has always been IM so it's doubtful your Endo will be very accepting of SQ or daily injections. When my provider enters notes into my chart he enters IM even though he knows I do daily SQ. If you have your own T and can get some insulin syringes, just administer the way you choose. I was doing SQ for a year before I told my NP and all during that time we established a rapport and when I finally told him he was totally was okay with it.
