    Test results

Got my lab results back today. My DO doc said I did not have an issue with low T. However, I disagree and was looking for a sanity check here.

I am 43, 220 and have been lifting for many years. Have not cycled for about 1.5 years so I have a good base line. He only tested total test but I was under the assumption he was testing free as well. My level was 304 ng.

From my research it is at the 300 mark they look to treat. For my age I should be in the mid 600's. So I believe I am low. I attached my lab results.

Looking for any feedback to support the doc or if I am correct in believing he is wrong.

You're right, he's wrong. Hell the normal scale at Labcorp is 348 - 1197. And yes, free T is what's important. Total doesn't really matter much. Some doc's live and die by ranges on a lab report and yours is an old range, btw. You should be treated based on how you feel as well as lab work.

Take a look at the list of BW in the Finding a Doc Sticky at the top of this forum and get that from another doctor or fill in what's been missed. There are some tips in there to save you time as well. Goal should be to find out why your low and correct it if possible. But you are at an age where it very well could just be your time.

call a compounding pharmacy and ask them to recommend a local dr that prescribes test gel/cream.

its a good starting point and certainly saved me lots of wasted time with conventional dr's

I have been around. I have never been a volume poster. I got to a point where I mostly read. Seemed like every time I posted someone was ready to say something stupid. I remember one member (that seemed to find my post) that I checked up on his posting and that is all this person did was stir the pot on ppl post. I am here for knowledge but recently I realize I need to get back to being an active participant of this community. This is a great site and I truly do appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for the advise. Looking into all options. Also considering self administration and doing my own labs. But I am a measure twice cut once kind of guy so I will explore all options at this time.

Don't self administer , its a Pandoras box and worth looking at anti aging clinics . they are out there, look for integrative medicine and a4m website has a recommended Dr page.
