Platelet Donating ?
I don't have any other places to rotate donations with around me so I'm wondering if doing platelets helps lower crit?

looks like high crit just makes the platelet separation process take longer and doesn't benefit the doner with any reduction in hematocrit levels.

Are you saying you have nowhere to go to donate blood? As in no one will allow you to donate?
If that's the case and you need to donate for medical reasons, ask your doctor to write you a prescription for therapeutic phlebotomy and you can have your blood drawn anywhere.

Ya I only have one location to donate and as you know, it can only be done every two months. One month ago I donated and my hematocrit was 51% so I should have ended up around 50% after donating. I'm just not sure how fast it will rise (it went up 6% in two months) or when it will plateau so I'm just being overly cautious. Depending on my levels I might need to have a TP done.
