    Tapering off TRT..

So looks like I'm going to need to taper off TRT and be off for a while because I won't be able to go to the clinic to get my supply for a while. Need advice on proper taper off. The doc had me on 180mg/week and I'm on HCG as well. He said I won't need to PCT off this stuff since my last E levels were only at 18. When I started the TRT three months ago, it was at 9. Should I still hit my own PCT?

Regardless of PCT or not, once it's all said and done you're still going to have low testosterone levels .

    What will happen:
During PCT you're natural production will be re-stimulated. At minimum you'll reach your previous natural high level, still a low level though. However, odds are significant that you might surpass that point.
Once PCT is over and done, you will rapidly fall back to your prior low level state, with a good chance of being lower than you were before.

Advice: Don't come off TRT - I know that sounds obvious, but if you actually need TRT then there is no such thing as a reason to come off. You're only causing yourself harm.

My clinic only gives out 3 weeks worth off Test because they said the law only allows them to give out that much. If you're on a good schedule, you go in on the same day that you need your fourth shot and they give it to you there. Then you are basically leaving covered for a month. So if your fourth shot day falls on a holiday you are screwed. You can't get an extra shot to cover that week in anticipation that you won't be able to make it because they are closed and/or you have to work holidays.

    Problems:

    -Clinic is only open M-F
-Clinic is 2.5 hour drive, so basically kills one of my days off
-I won't always have days off during the week to to drive up there, and after talking to them about this they said they won't work with me on mailing supplies, they said it is illegal.

Ive come to the conclusion that if I want to stay on Test, I will have to buy online somewhere and stay with the doses they had me at. Just get my blood levels checked by a local doc every three months or so.

there are tons of clinics that will mail you the things you need. Check into Low T dot com. Not worth coming off just time to find a better clinic to work with.

What you need is a new clinic, that's insane. Did I understand you correct, you drive 2.5 hrs each way once a week???
Soooo many better options, start with the site sponser.

Agree with Pete, go to LowT.com. Not sure what you pay per month but $199 is definitely better than all the driving, them injecting, wasted time and working at their convenience. Even if they gave you everything for free, LowT still sounds better.

That's correct. It wastes a whole day off basically like six hours with the visit and stops.

I've heard of a few closer ones but most guys either say the test isn't as good for some reason or just real shady.

If you're in the U.S. there is no such thing as a clinic with bad testosterone , as in testosterone that doesn't work. Now could there be a clinic that is a "clinic" meaning a bit of an under the table operation? Sure, that's possible, but those things never last and always end up shut down.

    That makes sense.

You should be able to find a doctor that will just write you a prescription for everything you need so you can just take the script to a pharmacy and pick everything up. By law you can receive a prescription that will last you six months.

My doctor writes mine for 6 months, and I go to the pharmacy and get a 90 day supply once that is gone I go back to the pharmacy to pick up my second 90 day supply. Once it is almost out i get my blood work done then reschedule.

As long as everything is fine i only do blood work, and appointments twice a year. If anything is off I have to do extra blood work.

I just had my appointment this week, and my e2 I believe was high so I have to do blood work in 2 months to make sure everything is working.

You should be able to find a much better doctor or clinic. Its crazy that the clinic makes you jump through so many hoops. The part about them not giving you an extra week supply if they are closed due to a holiday is bs. Who wants there levels to crash during a holiday.

Try to find a new doc or clinic that treats you right.
