hcg and sperm
I've been on T for nearly two years. Things are all good.
Just started hcg two weeks ago. 300 iu 2x per week. My T shot is every 7 days.
I want to know if hcg is going to impact my sperm production.
Now, I have 3 kids and want no more. Been shut down for a while with my protocol. The reason I know this is that my young and very fertile wife stopped taking the pill 6 months ago. Yet, she remains the opposite of pregnant in spite of around twenty or so opportunities I have to change that each month.
With the hcg in play, should we be looking into some form of birth control?
Thanks.

It only takes one swimmer and yes hcg can be used for fertility. So yes use birth control

Zero chance if she swallows. Ive always used that birth control protocol for high school and college girls.

TRT is not birth control.
Even if you're shut down, it can happen.
Although hCG primarily stimulates the Leydig Cells responsible for making Testosterone , there is a little crosstalk between the Leydig Cells and Sertoli cells responsible for making sperm. Using hCG in small amounts (500IU to 800IU per week), one can expect a slight increase in sperm production.

Other than the shrinkage do you notice anything else from dropping the HCG ? Just asking because I'm on test only also and contemplating wether to introduce HCG.

HCG does more than just address shrinkage.
Go to Google Images and search for: hormone chart.
When we're shut down, Pregnenolone and the cascade that follows is significantly reduced.
Including hCG in one's protocol stimulates Pregnenolone production, which in turn enables production of the rest of the cascade.

Well dang it!
Went down the hcg path for the reasons cited by OingoBoingo.
May have to go for the snip snip procedure.
