Damn doctors!
Just got to vent about this:
I've been going to this endo for years. Smart guy and I respect him.
So I go in today and just came off a cycle. A bit screwed up I admit. Hematocrit level is 56, test is super low, etc.
Anyway, I figure it's best to be honest with the guy. So I tell him about my 6 week test cycle with Ostarine. Very mild/low dose cycle.
And the guy tells me he isn't comfortable treating me anymore. Kicks my back to my primary!
What an asshole!
Guess that's what you get for being honest, huh?

I've told peeps for years you cannot be honest with doctors and the way medical laws are changing anyone would be crazy to admit to any illegal activity.. unless you have aids, then they are more than willing to give you anything..

Yes and no, it depends on the doctor.
If you're a steroid user and you still plan on being a steroid user, you can't expect any real doctor to help you with that.
If you're a steroid user and you're done with this and you want help, then by all means be honest about it. The doctor cannot help you if you're not honest.
The one that gets on my nerves the most is when a guy comes in complaining of low t, his total is on somewhat the lower end but his liver enzyme values are up and his free test levels are up and HDL is in the single digit range. Yes, he's been using something, something that's lowered SHBG enough to jack free levels up despite the lower total numbers. And when you deny this despite numerous signs in your blood pointing to it, well that's just annoying. The doctor isn't going to arrest you, but he's also unlikely to help you if you're going to stand there and lie to his face and completely insult his intelligence.

IDK, I'd say you cant really blame the man for having this view. Bottom line is he has a lot to protect and may view the self-administering of a Schedule III Substance as a liability to his practice. Not exactly a stretch IMO. Like it or not, both TRT & AS use is not looked upon kindly in many circles...

Telling a doc that you use an illegal drug is like telling him "yes, i own a gun, and yes I'm depressed, thought about suicide allot"... that information just doesn't go away..
But there's a reason they call it practicing medicine instead of curing people.
We all have different life experiences, that's for sure..The answer to your every question

Because some people put doctors in the same category as a priest and feel they need to confess to them and all will be forgiven and made right with God.
It's sort of the same mentality why people (not just criminals) spill their guts to police when they get caught even though the cop just read them their rights and were told "Anything you say can and WILL be used against you in a court of law"
I mean really, what part of that statement would make you spill your guts to them or say ANYTHING???Last edited by lovbyts; 04-13-2015 at 07:55 AM.
