Is there an effective way to raise free testosterone?
A 52 year old friend had his levels tested. His total test was 512 on a scale of 348-1197. Free test 7.7 on a scale of 7.2 to 24. He did not get his SHGB tested. He is in good shape and health. However, he would like to put on more muscle mass. Already works out a least 5 times a week. Other than taking Vitamin D and Nettle Root is any other ways to raise Free test?
Let's assume he can't raise his free T, given his total test is 512, he is probablly not a good candidate for TRT. I think he could consider taking Clomid or HCG , with little downside, to increase his total test and thus free test. Thoughts on that?
Thanks a lot!

Just saw this. Other than what you mentioned there's really not much he can do. Clomid by itself is a form of TRT as is HCG Mono Therapy. I would not suggest HCG as it will suppress his LH production.

How about Aromasin ?
It increases both FT and IGF-1.

Yes and no. It's a great AI but in the op's case he probably doesn't need one. With the use of any AI testosterone will rise simply by less turnover to E. When it comes to IGF-1 I've not read anything where it would directly impact IGF-1 other than when T increases, so can IGF-1.
