    Dht

I started taking finasteride after my last TRT appointment in October. Recent BW came back:
    Estradiol 42, <39 H
    Test in range
    DHT 14, 16-79 L

This was done by a Quest associated group but not Quest, the etradiol doesn't have LC/MS? The range for test is lower/tighter than other Quest BWs I got in the past.

So the finasteride blocked the conversion to DHT which upped the estrogen, ok. I am taking 1 mg of Finasteride, that's nothing. Also, I feel more like I did when I wanted to start TRT. Back then, my Test (Quest scale: 350-1100) was around 480 but my DHT was off the scale (low).
I'll probably lower DHT to .5(?) and raise adex from .25 2xweek to .25 and .5 alternating.
    Thoughts?

    For BPH or hair loss?

Remember, Fina can block conversion up to about 70%. I've run multiple BW's checking my DHT and E2 (I'm on 5mgs daily) while on moderately elevated doses of test and it sufficiently kept it on the low end or below range. Yes, it can raise E2 slightly as well as test levels.

Why do you think you need to take more adex Quester? Your level is just fine imho as most guys tend to feel better slightly higher than lower. I'd leave it alone.

-I'll leave the adex where it is. I guess I was falling into the old trap of blaming the estrogen but I don't currently have any symptoms of high estrogen.
-Since starting the finasteride acne has gotten better. I've only been on it for 3 months, so BPH and hairloss effects would be speculative. But, my outlook, perception or attitude (whatever you call it) has gotten more negative.
-I'm considering splitting the daily finasteride dose in half, 1mg to .5mg.
