Needs a GOOD Doctor recommendation
Hi, i am from Chicago. I've been looking for Doctors in Chicago or New York that can prescribe me something for TRT. I've done some exams a while back and it came as little low as i would like, just 300-400 range. I went to my usual Doctor and he said to me that's on the Normal levels and cannot do anything to help. Some BS i must say. I feel fatigue all the time, dont have desire to sex anymore. So if anyone can give me some advice and a good recommendation on a Medic that is more concerned about my well being that a bloody general-standard-rating-testosterone levels for men i would deeply appreciate. Btw, i am 33yo.

defy medical is a popular one around here (Online HRT clininc)
You can also look up HRT clinics in your area and maybe give that a try
LH/FSH kind of needed bloodwork for the first step
TESt/TEST Free/SHBG etc.. there;s a guide somewhere around here
Anyway, anyone who tells you under 500 is normal total test range they're lying.. you also need free T and total T to get a better picture

I use defy .
Personally I don't trust doctors in this field anymore .
They all have their wack job theories.
Yes they go by this trt text book but still , what they charge is pure robbery.
Do alittle research and you can run bloods and do a better job yourself .

This is definitely true. I have two friends I wanted to bring to this board for HRT information but they wont do it like I said to them their MD is garbage and one of the guys spoke to a urologist
They have been denied HRT from the doctor. Both guys with Kaiser and from what I saw total test was at 250-260
That's thrash in my opinion... going the HRT route probably works if you have the money but clearly the medical community has to step it up with the times and realise how important hormonal levels are for men before they're in their 60s

I am happy with Defy.

Defy is arguably the best clinic out there with some of the top doc's in the country. That said, many guys are looking for more of a one on one, in person relationship with their doctor, which there's nothing wrong with. Take a look at this link and see if it will help.

Also take a look at a few of the sticky threads at the top of this forum regarding finding a doc and initiating TRT.
Welcome to the site, btw!

Hi there. I'm from the Chicagoland Area. I started at the Low T Center and moved on to Richard Bertenshaw, MD in LaGrange. He is an Endocrinologist who is very easy going. PM me if you have any further questions about my experience with him.

I always tell people Defy but there is also Randy Mclain in LA and some others. I agree with EDC, get yourself dialed in with a professional like Defy or Mclain and then take control. I now use an NP aesthetic clinic, for real, because I would rather pay for legit gear and not feel like I'm taking chances. However, if you get regular bloodwork and have a reliable source, you would know your gear is reliable.

I understand that. About an hour drive for me but not something I want to have to do routinely. If I can just find an online clinic.
