on TRT my testo level is much to high
I am 58 and have been on TRT for a while. My doc has me on 125mg/week Testosterone Enanthate
which I split into 65mg every 3.5 day.
Now I got my blood results back and my testo and E2 levels are much to high.
Total Testosterone 2610 ng/dl (90.5 nmol/l)
Free Test 225 pg/ml ( >347.0 pmol/l)
E2 80 ng/dl (296 pmol/l)
Any thoughts on that why these levels are so high? I understand why the E2 is so high as it follows the testosterone.Last edited by ironguru; 02-02-2019 at 03:06 AM.

What is the concentration of your test E? 250mg/ml???
How many mls are you injecting with each shot?

It's difficult to interpret results without knowing the labs normal ranges and when the test was conducted relative to your injection. However, the TT does appear high for any range or day of the injection cycle. The obvious course of action is to lower the dose, but you don't need me to tell you that.

Sounds impossible to be that high (LAB error!!!)
What kind of syringe do you use and at what mark do you stop drawing?
Whats the concentration of the testosterone ? Is it 250mg or 400mg? Either way if you're actually injected a TRT dose your levels would be much lower than that
This could also just be a lab error and you could run another test for just test/free test and see what it says

They say they had it tested several times just to make sure that it is that high.. I had it tested at another lab a few month ago and it came out even higher.
I use a 1 ml ampule Testosterone Depot 250mg which I split up in 125mg ( 62.5mg every 3.5 days in the mornings).
The test was done one day after the injection.
I think I will lower the dose or extend the time of frequency and have it tested in a few weeks again ?Last edited by ironguru; 02-03-2019 at 01:59 AM.

You need to be more clear... are you splitting up 1 amp over 4 shots? Or 2?

So 1 amp lasts you 2 weeks?

I have forgotten to make sure I was drawing to the right mark on the (new) syringe and came back with high blood levels.

Blood test one day after injecting would yield the highest levels but that is really high. If you've been on the same protocol TRT for a while and this is out of the ordinary then maybe lab error and get another test soon. I always wait at least 3-4 days to pull blood after injecting.

I am on Dr TRT and my own blasts in between. That estrogen is technically high but unlikely to be symptomatic for most. It’s a personal thing but I don’t even start AI on blasts until I’m around mid to high 60’s and that’s just because I have plenty of AI on hand.
