    HRT/Ten/labs

    Stats:
    Age 57
    height 5' 10"
    weight 215
Approx BF 16% In my eyes.
    lift and/or cardio 6 days a week
    diet just ok somewhat clean.
Drink whiskey 2-3 times a week average 2-3 drinks.

    History:
Have been working out lifting and running since I was 16. I ran to much and was a thin muscular through my 30's and 40's. got serious about building muscle after my hip replacement and could no longer run 8 years ago. I have been on HRT for about 7.5 years now. Amazing that I don't know everything at this point. About 3 years ago I started adding two tren A cycles a year to the mix (200mg - 300mg a week). The tren A was good but, I didn't like pinning EOD so I went E last time and pinned E3.5 days with my test.

    Recent:
Durning my Jan/Feb 2019 cycle, I way overdosed my tren E at 500mg a week and the sides about killed me ( in my mind anyway). I ended that cycle on March 1st and went back to my normal HRT at 80mg E3.5D. I recently had a stress test done and they said my heart was in excellent condition for my age. It took to the end of the 4th increase in incline and speed to get my heart to 152 BPM. I also recently had a sleep study done that indicated that I was having an average of 31 events per hour (stop breathing). So now use a CPAP. Had full labs drawn on April 17th and annual physical April 24th.

    Meds:
70mg Test CYP E3.5days, 250IU's HCG E3.5days, 12.5mg exemestane daily, 500mg slow release Metformin twice daily, 25mg lasartan daily, 600mg NAC, Red yeast rice, krill oil, stinging nettle root, B12.
After looking at all the attached lab results and talking to my Doc it appears the only thing really wrong with me inside is my damn cholesterol.

    Questions:
Should I even worry about my cholesterol? if so: Considering my free test is at 216.9 (range 47-244 pg/ml) on the upper side. Would backing my test off to say 130mg per week (65mg E3.5days) help?
I want to run 6 week cycle, increase test to 100mg E3.5days and 50mg Anavar daily starting May24th. Given my cholesterol should I even be considering this?
I have never done an oral steroid is there a better injectable option for a quick cut?

What else can I do to improve these numbers?

    Conclusion:
I am feeling pretty darn good lately! Pumps in the gym have been great and over-all I am happy with my build. I don't look to bad (Avatar is recent pic), but I just want to get my bodyfat down to about 12%.
Notice the graph and about the time I added tren is when my cholesterol started the upward trend. One lab I didn't post Estradiol was perfect for me at 25pg/ml
Thanks in advanced for any advise.

I guess no one has figured out how to lower cholesterol naturally, really don't want another drug.

I had total cholesterol in that ballpark about 15 years ago. I cut all dairy fat out of my diet. Very little saturated fat from meat. I stick with lean cuts. I added fiber to my diet. Slowly work up to 50g/day. Use supps if necessary. All that got my total down to 200 in 6 months.
After being really strict with my diet *for years* I eventually started allowing saturated animal fats as an *occasional * cheat. My total cholesterol stayed around 200.
My HDL was normal, but not protective level. After my coach had me taking 1000mg Now Ultra Omega-3 5-8/day my HDL shot up high above the protective threshold.

You're doing everything else right with exercise

Thanks PB. All good advise I know I can start doing some small things to improve it. Add flax seed to my shakes, no more burger once a week when we go sign in with friends, a good steak as a treat now and then instead of weekly, and more veggies! I do take Omega 3 krill oil right now, but don't know how many mg it is. I had a calcium score CT scan done 2 years ago and it was pretty good (see pic). That was 2 years ago though and I have been on a stead increase for 3 years. My main concern is that my doc will want to put me on meds for it. We all know that those meds really mess with joints and muscles ... my joints are already feeling it from the lasartan. I may stop taking the lasartan (BP med) now that I am using the CPAP. Supposedly sleep apnea can cause high BP.

Bethdoth you seem to be taking the right supplements. Sometimes it's simply genetic. Your HDL is about where I'd expect it to be. Remember, the late Dr. John Crisler would automatically give his patients a 10 pt bump in HDL due to the exo test. One thing I think would help is to increase your fish oil dosage to reduce your triglyceride level.

Also, if your RYR is domestic it's probably quite useless. The FDA regulated the natural statins out of it several years ago.

Damn that RYR is expensive too! I just started taking Metformin a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if you are familiar with it, it's a drug they give type II diabetics. It's works by reducing the amount of sugar your liver releases into your blood. It also makes your body respond better to insulin . My research indicates that it can/may reduce the effects of aging, lowers cholesterol, reduces the risks of dementia, Alzheimers, cancer ... etc. Lots of studies being done. I am going to try it for 6 months and see if it has any effect. I am not sure if I can attribute how I have been feeling in the gym to Metformin, but my energy levels have been great! Could be the quality sleep with the new CPAP?? Did one hour of cardio last night and didn't get bored or to tired while maintaining a 139BPM heart rate. I know you don't have to do cardio, but my lard ass needs it!

I do eat a lot of eggs? I know the government has flip flopped on eggs and effect on cholesterol? I could start doing more egg whites and less yokes.

Thanks I will bump up the fish oil and get the wife to change the things she cooks.
