Hi Guys any idea's. Started using HCG for fertility reasons. Now each time I inject I get a big red sore lump about 1 inch diameter which lasts around 3 days.

I'd use bacteriostatic water for starters. What concentration is your HCG when reconstituted? 5000 iu/cc?10,000iu/cc?

My biggest concern would be if you used sterile technique when reconstituting your HCG . Next would be the water type- sterile water is great if you’re going to use it immediately or very soon after, but I would probably use it within a few days. The other issue could be the concentration, is it diluted and every 2500 iu injection is a ml or two. To me that’s too much to jam in sub q.

Last thing that helps me when injecting into my belly is to pinch the skin up and poke the side of the piece I have pinched up. I feel like I still hit muscle with the insulin syringe so I like to pinch it up a bit.

I’ve never had a red sore lump from hcg, but maybe some of the vets around here can offer better info.

The HCG I bought came with 10 vials of sterile water. Each vial is 1cc. I broke the glass seals and transferred to the HCG. I would have thought the water would remain sterile. However I will buy some bacteriostatic or try, things are hard here in the Philippines. Thanks

I will get some bacteriostatic water. The HCG is reconstituted with 1cc of sterile water from a glass vial. The product is Black Dragon produced in Thailand. Thanks

Make sure you are injecting deep enough.
