New bloods, opinion on thyroid levels needed

Got my bloodwork done and dr was suggesting I’m hypothyroid. My range seems normal but I’m outa the loop on this as I haven’t been on the site ina while. Any og members input is appreciated!

no idea why your doctor would say your hypothyroidal...

You may not be "ideal" but you are definitely within range.

Thanks for the reply brotha. I thought the same, I’m within range and less is more so if I don’t really need another medication, I’m not taking it. From what I’ve read 1 is the target so I’m not to far off. Would upping hcg have any effect on thyroid?

    Not that I know of...
(HCG will slightly raise your test and estrogen which will in turn slightly lower SHBG which may slightly lower your T4 and T3 but I am talking miniscule amount and this in all in theory...)

yes, 1 is the average TSH but the target range is usally say 0.7-2.0

I could not open your results, but the TSH is actually the signal from your pituitary to produce in the thyroid and not your T3 or T4 levels. The more the signal, the higher the TSH which usually relates to the less T3/T4.
I had a TSH of 12. That sort of happens when they remove your thyroid and only dose you with 125mcg of T4. LOL
I asked the Dr to be more aggressive in his dosing. He was concerned with my afib that I previously had.

Shit that’s weird I couldn’t open it now either. Well here’s my numbers:

    Tsh 1.7
    T4 6.5
    T3 (free) 2.9
