Coming off TRT after 9 years, Dr is giving me Clomid only to start PCT
After 9 years of testosterone gel packets im finally ready to have kids and want to come off TRT and my Dr said to start 50mg clomid 3 days a week and after 8 weeks to re do bloodwork and see what my numbers are like. I thought I was sterile but my sperm test came back super low at 2,000,000 per whatever but the mobility of the sperm wasnt great. He also said the hormone secreated by the brain was a low number which is great so he told me things are "Promising" which is i guess good. If my second sperm test numbers are not alot better then hes going to put me on HCG ... Question I have is clomid going to help me not crash? Coming off test cold turkey is crazy for anyone to do so I hope the clomid will bridge the gap and help me get normalized again.... i guess I'll see how the next 8 weeks go. Anyone have this experience? thanks

I don't see the need for clomid yet. You should simply try HCG for a period and monitor your swimmers. Read the attached and get a copy to your doctor.

I totally agree, even the article you sent says use HCG and also clomid at the same time. I want to do HCG but this DR ( who's supposedly one of the top urologists on Long island) wants me to start clomid for two months first and then see where I'm at before doing HCG. Im fine with that as long as Im not going to crash and burn, I cant stand that feeling coming off Test cold turkey. Should I even try the clomid only for two months??

Dude fuck those long island Dr's. They got big bills to pay and want you to come in for a lot more visits than normal Dr's.
I have 3 kids ( just had 3rd) all while on trt for 10 years and went more time without HCG than used it. Each time we planned I started HCG a year before we were ready. I stopped trying to get Dr's to understand HCG so I went and self-medicated. When it was officially go time I got seamen analysis and I was above average all three times.
