Dizziness (Not Spinning Like Vertigo) Disequlibrium - could hormones be causing this?

    Hey All

I recently woke up with what I would describe as feeling like each step I take is on a boat. Most of the time, I am dealing with a swaying motion that only subsides when I am laying down, is minor when sitting, and is most present when standing and walking around. Some headaches, light and sound sensitivity, and certain environments can make it a little worse. I can't find a diagnosis from a DR, and a neurologist is like a 4-month wait, so I am trying to turn over every stone through every change that has occurred recently in my life.

My urologist is not lights out TRT specialist, but he handles my higher than normal numbers for PSA well, so I stick with him. He thinks a 450 test level on 100mg a week is acceptable and won't prescribe more tests, so I had just gone with it until about 2 months ago. I picked up some t400 from a UGL and bumped my test up to 200mg a week.

At one point I was running this with Cialis and Flowmax to combat my BPH. I have since dumped the Cialis as I have eliminated caffeine out of my diet and that has helped greatly with my peeing issues.

I have had a hearing test from two top ents, and ruled out any issues with my ears causing the dizziness. I have been to the ER to rule out stroke through Cat Scan. I have had BPPV (vertigo) ruled out by GP, and ENTS. One ENT mentioned Vestibular MIgraines which is dizziness without migraine pain. I slightly fight in that box at times and other times I don't. It's really hard to get a pulse on.

Anyway- the reason I ask here is that I know low and high estrogen can cause some crazy things to happen. My blood pressure has been borderline normal or borderline hypertension and at times kinda high. I have been put on verapamil to help with blood pressure and if I do have vestibular migraines it would prevent them from happening.

I have labs this week to check out my e2 but I was curious if anyone ran into this before?

OP my guess is that it’s high E. 100-200mg is quite the big jump. What is your injection protocol? My estrogen recently got elevated and I experienced these exact imbalances and feelings, especially upon waking. The dizziness was also accompanied by gyno symptoms. I took .25 of arimidex and the dizziness and nipple discomfort subsided within 24hrs. Your dose might be too high, injection volume might need to be spread out, but getting E2 tested is a good idea imo. Keep us updated please!

Please let me know what you find out, because I have been suffering from the exact same symptom. It’s line i’m on a boat, and I feel like i’m falling. The strangest feeling, it happens a lot when I notice it too. I wonder if it has to do with our breathing?

When I stopped drinking coffee my blood pressure went way down, and I don't mean just a little. Very noticeable. Now it's normal.
