Lab testing question - AM fasted or PM not fasted?

Have a question about testosterone profile testing.

Because we are using exogenous testosterone, does it matter to test in the AM fasted versus later in the day non fasted?

    Thoughts?

AM is best, I've heard everything from "you must be fasting" to "eat up, it doesn't matter for testosterone ". It definitely DOES matter for other tests, like lipids, cbc, etc, so I generally do AM fasted as well, just for consistent results.

Fasting not necessary for test. There are studies regarding fasting for lipids etc and whether it's worth it or not. We don't live in a fasted state.
