igf measurment q

if i have 2ml of aa and put it into the igf--now i have 2ml=1000mcg

if my insulin syringe is a 1cc syringe and has 100iu on it, then how many mcg is equal to each iu on the syringe

i want to shoot 15mcg 4 times a day

if you used 1ml of aa 10 on the pin would = 10mcg

so if you use 2ml of aa 10 on the pin would = 5mcg

This was posted by monstermass on another thread that I had open, and it seems to conflict with the information spywizard has given. So now im confused. Dont mean to hyjack but who is right. We both need to find out how to measure the igf. Im doing mine with the 1ml aa i think.

no offence plzr8, but let me speak in my (dummy terms) its very easy all you do bro is draw 1ml/1cc of AA and squirt it gently to the side of small 5ml vial but i like to use a regular 3cc body w/ a 23ga pis as its longer and you can really get the angle, but you need to be carefull of the vacume effect of the 5ml vial so make sure to hold the plunger tight as it sometimes pushes itself out fast. and thats it bro after the AA is in the vial swirl around, dont shake and wait about 5min or so and swirl again and all or any chunks will be gone!!!

so then your 1cc/1ml slin pin will measure out each striker (small mark) will be 20mcg !!!!!!

bigsnor, i told you...you wanted 60mcg correct?

it simple...

if you use 2mL of AA, draw back 12iu (the '10' mark plus 2 ticks)
if you use 1mL of AA, draw back 6iu

i suggested using 1.7mL AA, because then 60mcg is an even 10iu (the '10' mark)
