    HGH PWO theorie...

    Hello Guys...

Gear, I would ask you your opinion about that theorie, please

I have found this on another board :

After training, PWO carb/creatine/protein drink immediately after,
then wait about 15-30 min and shoot the GH IM.

1hour later that, 1st solid meal.

Logic behind this is that HGH interferes with the body's ability to uptake glucose (insulin release).
and we want to create an insulin spike with my PWO high carb drink to help transport nutrients into the muscles and to replace the lost glycogen (as people using insulin pwo).

Taking HGH before the pwo drink will cause a drop in blood sugar and will interfere with this process.

There are quite a few ways of using HGH, they all work well however all of them have downsides too.

HGH can interfere with your body's ability to uptake glucose so that's why some seperate their carbs and HGH. Since HGH takes approx 20 - 30min to travel to the liver once injected it would make sense to inject HGH 15 - 30min after you've consumed carbs, so the part in bold makes perfect sense.

Having said all this, it doesn't necessaraly mean HGH + carbs will always turn out bad. Smaller amounts of carbohydrates would be OK, but too much carbs around injection time can certainly lead to blood glucose issues.

The part in bold doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.

I have heard the same thing, and perhaps it's true, but I haven't come across any studies confirming carbs are necessary when taking HGH, so I am not too sure on that one. What I do know is that I have taken HGH with no carbs many times and it has worked very well.

For the ones who are unsure if they need carbs around injection time, I suggest you have smaller amounts because large amounts of carbs can definitely create problems.

Once again, experiment using HGH different ways and stick with what works best.
