Question 18 Years Old (Test E+Dbol)- Current Experience

Throughout my life I've always been an Ectomorph. I’ve been training for 2 years and built a good foundation. Luckily for the past year I’ve been getting to train with 2 competitive Canadian body builders 6 days a week. One is 27 and the other is 34, both experienced steroid users. Even though I’m 18 I decided I was going to take 500 MGS of Test E every week for 12 weeks and 25 MG of Dbol every day for 6 weeks followed by 40 MGS of Novladex a day for 2-3 weeks after my cycle. I’m currently just finishing up my 4th week but might drop out of my cycle. Very good strength gains, insane libido, and so far gained 10 pounds putting me from being 6’1 at 170 pounds to 180 pounds. In 2 days my 5th week would start however these past 2-3 days have been rough. It appears like my cycle is bringing back my anxiety problem that I got rid of a year ago. It’s very hard to sleep at night; I feel awake 24/7. It’s hard to explain but my mind got all crazy last night and I had to go downstairs to get a drink and relax. The only sides are these mental issues of feeling un easy, slightly depressed, and slight paranoia anxiety, (minor panic attacks). What do you guys think? Should I just end my cycle and take Novladex and get some blood work done in about a month ? My passion for body building wants me to finish this cycle and achieve a master physique however the Test is obviously kicking In making my mind go crazy. ( I've already asked my 2 friends their opinions, just seeking out more from the forum community). If I end my cycle how long should I wait to get blood work done? Or should I also see an Endocrine specialist even though I’ve only been on a cycle for 5 weeks (depending if I stay on or not). Will post more pics/information as my cycle continues if I stay on but I most likely will stop till I’m about 23 well see. -Cheers

Do you understand what your doing, shutting down your natural testosterone before its fully developed? not only that your nowhere near ready with your stats.

I'm aware of the dangers, which is why I am probably just going to end my cycle tonight after the 4th week and just take my Novladex for 3 weeks. I appreciate the reply. 6'1 at 170 before cycle is definitely not prime.

Your nowhere near ready to take steroids and you really need to learn how to eat.
There isn't an exact age were we all stop developing and growing because this is determined by our genes and DNA, we are all genetically programmed individually and we inherit our genes from our parents. To give an exact age we stop growing would be incorrect because everyone's genetic blueprint is different. The main development of our bodies is up to the age of 21yrs of age but this can vary between individuals. There are parts of our bodies what carry on developing and adjusting slowly up until the age of 25yrs old, an example of this is the brain. The Endocrine system is a part of the brain what is very complex and keeps our bodies in a homeostasis state. Our testosterone levels start raising and roughly peak around 25yrs old and then start to slowly decline, so even though some of us may have stopped growing at the age of 21yrs old, others may still be developing up until the age of 25yrs old.

I have recently spoken to my Endo regarding this matter and he tells me that the HPTA is very sensitive and as many pathways how it regulates the human body, he states steroids disrupt the normal balance of hormones in the body which can cause reversible and irreversible changes at any age but risks are far more if you administrate exogenous androgens during development, this will put you in a very unnatural environment at a crucial time and your hormones should be treated with care especially in the early stages of maturity. The adverse effects can be erratic behaviour of the HPTA and potentially therapy when your older.

I did ask him what age he would think would be the safest as far as risk to damages and he said many endocrinologist suggest full maturation is reached by 25 years of age and this would also give the HPTA time to be established with your natural hormone balance and patterns. I personally feel 24-25yrs old would also be ideal starting point to get bloodwrok drawn to see exact what your natural levels are before starting any kind of cycles and waiting till you have reach your testosterone peak would be a good starting point, for me there is to much evidence over the forums and what I've seen personally over the last 25yrs I've been bodybuilding. Obviously it isn't going to be all 19- 21yr old bodybuilders who suffer side effects what are irreversible but I am edging on the side of caution what age I advice to the newbies.

Im glad you decided to drop the cycle, you are to young bro.... the 10 pounds you gained was from the dbol , the test was just kicking in.... drop your cycle, and do it natural, get some creatine, protein, and make sure you diet is in check, train hard and sleep, you should grow.... IF you have problems with you diet, post your diet in the proper forum, and someone will help you there...

Welcome to the board! I know the feeling of wanting to rush into it but as you said with the paranoia, it's probably good that you dropped it for now. Let yourself mature then try again. Good luck man

Yeah you definitely need to stop. Hormones aren't to be toyed with at our age. No real point anyways.

If I could go back to being 18, (26 now) and apply some things I know how to my training back then, my god the results would be epic. Taking sauce at 18 is ridiculous, you can make gains at that age training like a baffoon.
Drop the gear, learn how to eat, do some proper squats and dead lifts, and get some sleep...
    You don't need steroids
