Sherman Classic, Figure, 3rd place

6 months ago, a good friend of mine saw a Ms. Figure competition. She thought she could beat the girls she saw, so 6 months later, she competed in the John Sherman Classic in Houston. She got 3rd place (I thought she was actually going to win) outta like 15 girls (she competed in the tallest division).

I've known this girl for 4 years (maybe more) and its incredible to see how much she accomplished in 6 months (natrually). I have a picture of us before she started competition training...she looks good, but good in like, "hey, that girl at the bar looked good." Now she's all ripped and shredded, its amazing. I'll see if I can dig up that picture somewhere.

Hehe, I've never met a figure competitor much less been good friends with one. Its kinda cool...all night I was like, "Whoa! lemmie touch!". Her abs feel freaky...=)

Anyways, here are the pics. Keep in mind these pics were taken after she had 1.5 small pizzas, 2 large cokes, cheese sticks, and countless candy bars.

P.S. Yes, that is me competing with a girl...and losing...=(

Yes, she made incredible progress over the last few months. I think it's safe to say that she has "the gift." This girl can pound away food like no one I've ever met, and still stays super-thin even when she's not training for something. Kudos to her for the hard effort...and ****, Clock, she is showing us up. Time to get back on the ball...

well what can i really say other than she is one really hot girl. what is lucky about her is not only her great definition but she has the face. i feel the face is such a big factor in woman's competitions. she looks really great. you better be telling her everyday how great she looks!!

She looks great. I think she looks a little "too hard" for figure. But then, I never know what judges are looking for when it comes to figure. Some shows I see the women with a little more body fat place 1st and 2nd, other shows it's ripped women like your friend who place high. Her body type looks more like fitness than figure to me. Either way, she looks terrific and congratulations on her placing.

Has anyone figured out what judges want for figure?

I think she is perfect IMO! Nice size and definition, and she does have a pretty face which is rare in womens body building.

I met this chick at UT, that chick introduced me to this chick, I lost contact with the first chick, stayed friends with this chick for a long time. Its kinda cool...she has always been fit and worked out, but its like she went from a normal girl to this amazing, head turning fitness model type girl...and since I was friends with her before, she can't just ditch me, bahahaha...
